I'd suggest putting the forks back at the correct position first. Then I'd have a look at the aftermarket Hagon shock, many of them have a length adjustment, might have been adjusted for a shorter legged owner. The other possibility is that the swing arm links (dog bones) have been replaced with aftermarket lowering items. Have a good Christmas.

@@jonyr1TT Just while it's in my head. When you get around to taking the tank off. Never lay it down on the floor, particularly with any fuel in it, it will distort / splay and you'll have trouble matching up screw holes when you put it back on. Best method is to set it on a central support, like a saw horse or bar down the centre, similar to the way it sits on the frame. All the best for health and happiness in the year ahead.

@@jonyr1TT It's not as daunting as it looks. One thing to watch out for is the fuel quick disconnects. There was a recall for the hose end connector to change them from plastic to alloy (pressure one red & silver for the return) sadly the recall didn't cover the pump side as well, so they might still be plastic and fragile. When you release them by pressing in the spring clip, keep it fully pressed until the male end is clear to avoid damaging the O ring in the male fitting on the often sharp edge of the female spring clip (or just replace the O ring). Thanks yes I've heard about these fittings being brittle and weak hopefully i can leave the fuel pipe attached and rest the tank on the frame where the battery lives.. happy new year 🐅👍🏍️

Hello John , just wondering about your stand , might could have a short rear shock and the last rider was a short arse thats why front stachions been pushed through the yokes just a guess happy christmas and new year
