I purchased both the green 4 litre and black 5 litre units to do wax melts and candles. I don't need big units since it only takes a half hour to melt everything and wax is not my primary craft anyways so these are perfect for me. Love them! 💞

Aren’t they awesome wax melter? It is an awesome machine and very affordable.

I have the 5L and it's perfect for me as a beginner. I can now get my coconut apricot wax to a hotter temperature than using double boiler. I think's it's helped in my testing.

That is awesome. Thanks for sharing your experience.

When mixing at these ratios my cementall is so thick it wont flow into my mold its thick and plops. What do I do?

Sounds like a product issue. Contact the location you purchased the CA and let them know it's no good and you would like another bag. It happens.

Can i add more water to make it more fluid? Thank you :)
@upvibecandle4 күн бұрын
Adding more water can negatively impact your mixture and compromise the integrity of your jar.

I LOVE magic erasers. They really are magic! For silicone molds though, do they take off the shine?
@upvibecandle4 күн бұрын
Magic erasers are very soft. If your molds are less shiny it's due to the concrete and not the eraser.

Jai, thank you so much for this! Purchased the pigment you listed and used 2.8% am having an issue where the top of the jars (bottom of mold) have a streaking look, but I’m mixing and mixing to the point where it was getting a little too thick to pour at one point. It’s only right at the top of the jar lip. Three jars done and all same thing. Any ideas?!!

I have a question. Why did the start doing concrete candles last year? But I had a lot of health problems. And I want to start up again. Is there any way you can reply and let me know how to buy? My first metal, the things I need my starter kit. I guess you would say cause I don't know what I need excepthora concrete. So if you could let me know I would appreciate it. And I love your videos. I love your personality and I've learned from you so far so I will keep watching. Thank you.

Is there another sealer that works with Hydrostone? Unfortunately, I'm not able to get Earth Safe shipped to where I live in Canada
@chrisyui26 күн бұрын
Hi Jay, thank you for posting all the video, we have a shortage of hydrostone in Australia, and hydrocal is the only ingredient i can get now. but there is not many information around. my question is, is that safe for making candle jar?
@upvibecandle26 күн бұрын
It should work if you are a responsible candle maker. Watch this video and test it out to make sure hydrocal is the same there as it is here. kzbin.info/www/bejne/qnrcZJmVj6yCa5Isi=31VYpRsWXSXZT4_2

There are so many decent silicone mold companies out there but their silicone molds hurt after awhile. BN has mastered the balance between ease of use and cost/quality.

Hey Jai! Thanks for all the informative and entertaining videos. I've learned so much from you and had a lot of fun. One thing I'm running into is water spots on my creations. Any tips? Im following 4:1 ratio and using distilled water
@upvibecandle28 күн бұрын
Concrete is a fairly straightforward mixture. While it generally cures in a uniform fashion, sometimes cement will have dark splotches that show on the surface as the material cures, or dries. There are numerous reasons for this, ranging from finishing methods to mixing methods and specific ingredients. Try regular water just to see how it goes.

Put the mold on a table and vibrate the table with a palm sander and the bubbles will come out quickly.
@upvibecandleАй бұрын
That’s old school. Make your mix smooth and then there is no need for tapping at all.
Hi, really enjoy your videos and testing. Does one need to use a sealer for the vessels? I can understand when the wax is melted it can discolor the vessel,but doesn't it cool and solidify before that happens. It's just hard to find the proper sealant where I live, that is heat resistant as well.
@upvibecandleАй бұрын
Hi. Yes you need a sealant. Either check out my video on sealants or have Earth Safe Finishes shipped to you. If that is too expensive look at neighboring countries to see what works.
