A Trip to the Barley Mow - Auf Wiedersehen Pet Series 2 - Video 2 - (2021 Edit)

Following on from the previous 'Trip to Thornely Manor' video.. we see the pub where it all went off here between the lads and Arthur 'Tiger' Pringle!! Also a small surprise on the end with regards to another location nearby....
NOTICE: Since filming this video other fans and myself discovered a studio WAS used for most the interior shots due to the amount of trade time the pub could have lost and also due to an on screen mistake in 'No Sex please, We're Brickies' in which Wayne walks back from the bar and as the camera pans back we see the studio lights in the background and the wall ending going upwards revealing no ceiling.. Only things at the pub were outside and where Arthur walks up to find his Brick Wall gift from the lads!

Wow. Great video. I always thought that all the interior shots of the Barley Mow, were done in Central TV studios. Nice to know it was in the actual pub.

It WAS in a Studio for ALL interior scenes.. i actually correct it in the original 'Video 3' that is also currently blocked... But im doing the edit on it now... The Pub itself was only used 99% outside.. theres one shot where Arthur walks to his door to find it bricked up, that WAS the pub interior..

Hi Tim , I managed to get to Barry's, cross keys , knipton ,bingham for Barry and Oz's cafe and Howard's office , had a meal and a couple of pints in the barley mow/windmill and just managed a zoomed in photo of thornley Manor as we didn't want to intrude as its a private residence ! Thanks for all your help in the videos Tim ! 👍🍺🙂Mike.
