Would be great if you linked a video or gave more context. How the hell are we going to find the actual video that this is from?

The entire Breathometer pitch is, IMO, flawed, because even if it worked flawlessly they're working off the notion that below 0.08% BAC is "safe to drive," but it's not. Plenty of people show signs of impairment at lower levels, so it could give the false sense of security to someone at 0.06% and uncoordinated to hop behind the wheel and cause carnage.

The other thing that confuses me is why the legit winner didn’t protest at the finish IMMEDIATELY . She’d have known who was around her the entire race. “Look, I never saw this person near me, never saw her ahead of me pull away.”

My Dad was a Senior Check Captain for Qantas and was flying 747s in 1979. He captained a flight to Antarctica on 9th December 1979, but due to the Erebus crash only 11 days before, they obviously kept well away from the site. Qantas had advised their pilots to only go as low as 5,000 ft, which Dad duly followed. They flew from Sydney and as I look through his photo album, I can see it was a clear day so fantastic visibility for the passengers and crew. As they flew over a flat ice shelf, he got a big surprise when the radio altimeter went off, which goes off when an aircraft is within 2,500 ft of the ground. He hadn’t descended, it was the ground that came up to meet him, so he quickly climbed to a higher altitude. In the early flights, they used to descend and put the flaps out to fly slower and give the passengers a better view. Someone pointed out if the flaps didn’t come back up, they didn’t have enough fuel to fly home as they would have to then fly below 20,000 ft where there’s more drag on the aircraft, thus using more fuel, so future flights flew quite a bit higher with flaps up at probably 10,000 ft. Dad said the views were breathtaking and unparalleled and flew sweeping figure 8s so that every passenger could get a proper view. I believe Qantas use the 787-9 Dreamliner aircraft nowadays for these flights.

Thank you for this excellent documentary! For anyone interested, there are some worthwhile docos I have just watched and would highly recommend. The first is more of a made for tv doco "Erebus - The Aftermath" which is the story of the "Royal Commission of Enquiry" held in 1980, presided over by Justice Peter Mahon and his personal fight to find the truth with the excellent actor Frank Findlay playing Mahon. Justice Mahon was another unfortunate victim in this tragedy. The second is "Erebus: Operation Overdue, The Most Extraordinary Police Operation in History". This is a compelling retelling of the recovery operation and what those men witnessed was life changing. They are all heroes in my book. RIP all passengers and crew of Flight 901.

No one with a medical degree or phd or anything period is ashamed or scared to tell you what school they went to or what their degree was in haha. Literally anyone with real credentials would be able to answer any of those questions. It's clear he didnt even do the research to know what he needed to fake or not and just kept getting himself caught by people actually in the field who know what to ask and he had no way to talk himself out of his lies and ignorance. Looking at his pattern, guy seriously needs to be locked up and stay far, far away from the medical community in any way, shape, of form.

In 1979 250 disabled children were flown by Air New Zealand to the United States at the air lines expense. NZ companies sponsored these children on a 10 day holiday around Los Angeles visiting Disneyland (2 days) Knots Berry Farm, Universal Studios, San Diago Zoo, San Diago Sea World, and a few other places I can't recall. This trip was the brain child of and organised by a young Air New Zealand stewardess Sue Marinovic . 2 weeks after she returned from this 10 day trip with the children, she was killed on TE901. Among the children who went on this trip were 20 of my classmates from Homai College For The Blind (the national school for the blind). I was not one of them. But a year later a second trip was organised for 30 more with the left over money and I went on that trip. I was too young (10) to understand the significance of 901. But a few days after the accident I recall a couple of the staff of Homai College talking about it and that Sue had been on the flight. One of those staff had been on the trip and was very shaken.

I've gambled a few times and always won, but I play games where skill is needed rather then luck and payouts. They always get greedy and get caught do one heist for millions and it's easy to split that and invest it and grow it legally! Why were the chips flushed?

It's really tough to feel sorry for casinos. There was a video on KZbin where this one man kept on winning playing cards. They could not see any way that he was cheating and he kept on winning. Finally he was put on The blacklist and was not allowed in any casinos in Vegas. They said to this day nobody has ever proven he had cheated he's denied it all his life. They were trying to say he was card counting which by the way I don't know how that could be considered illegal.

The last story, about the fake lotto guy, is so weird. I’ve heard about it before, but it always throws me for a loop whenever I hear the story details again. Like, your husband lies about winning the lottery for months, racking up tens of thousands in debt having multiple affairs, and when he’s finally forced to come clean you end up taking him back because he did it for love? That’s crazy, first off. And then, there’s the fact that she has to be the one to break the news to friends and family that it was all a lie, but everyone gets pissed at her because they aren’t getting any of the fake lotto winnings? Excuse me, bitch? Who cares if he promised you some of his fake lotto winnings? You’re all a bunch of fucking leeches, and now you’re pissed at her because he lied? Even if he had won the lotto, why the hell would he give you randos a fucking penny? It’s clear that a lot of people only got friendly with him because they thought he had money and that they might get some of it, which is just fucking gross. Fuck all those people. Bunch of greedy liars and leeches around there. And she’s dumb for taking him back, although if I remember correctly she ended up dumping him for good once he cheated on her again after he got out of jail.
