I am thrilled to see that the scenes and environment are kept pristine. One of the best-ever movies made in history. I can't say how many times I have watched it since my teen ages yet whenever I watch it seems like a new film to me.

Wow! This is kind of a masterpiece, a track with several surprises for the listener. Love the sensitive part from 2:00 on, some subtle sound details here and there. And the fact that this track has a length of a good 6 mins is also considerable! I watched till the very end and got an additional surprise - nice ;-D Hopefully I'll manage to produce something decent the next time.

Sehr schöne Vergleichsaufnahmen der Drehorte - wie sie im Film zu sehen sind und wie sie 2018 aussahen. Was mich besonders gefreut hat: Die Holzhütte auf dem Fluchtweg des Bunkerkönigs war keine Kulisse, und sie steht immer noch. Da bekommt man richtig Lust, sich John Sturges' Klassiker sofort wieder anzuschauen. Klasse Video!

Servus... wo hast'n die 1,98 m her recherchiert?!!... Kiste - aha... Fahre diesen meinen Kiefer seit 30 Jahren und habe schon immer ohne irgendwelche anderen Sitzschienen reingepasst... vielleicht hilft da auch das kleine Lenkrad von D&W... :-)

Nicely done. But, today if Disney made this movie: Disney executives will say: "Where are the black, Asians, Hispanics, Muslims and transgender prisoners? Why didn't they escape with the whites? What do you mean "they don't look German"?" Of course they can be seen as Germans. You don't have to be an Aryan to look like an ethnic German." - an example of the Wonderful World of Disney. Look what Disney did to Star Wars, Marvel and Indiana Jones. I just hope they keep their hands off these classics.
