Things like that have to come into your universe at the right time. I understand that. I didn't do any sequencing since the end of the 90s with Fasttracker II. Inbetween I tried a lot of things - DAWs did not give me the right workflow, I tried to programm own styles on Yamaha PSR- and KORG PA- Keyboards or to "direct-record" on these machines..., BOSSs Loop-Station, ...-... but the machine that really worked out for me and gives me the chance to bring my ideas to life is the MODX. So I have to catch up a lot you see 😊👍 Thank you very much for your kind words. Awaiting your next music video ... almost bought a SX back then 👍

I've really had many years of a never-ending search for the right instrument. It's a shame to have obviously never really known what I wanted and needed. Whether synthesizer or keyboard, most instruments I have sold again at the latest after 2 years. Fortunately I didn't end up selling the MODX and I'm still sure I want to keep it. But the SX is also really a keyboard that you can/should keep with a clear conscience. Especially because I gave it an "upgrade" with high quality analog and FM synthesizer sounds. Hopefully I'll publish something new in the next weeks but another project keeps me very busy.

... same with me. I never really knew what I wanted or needed. Some things I didn't even want to try out, 'cause the look and technical design told me already: Nothing for me ... I upgraded my MODX with the sequencer, which isn't onboard from factory and then I knew - this is what I need. Keep it up !!! 👍

Fantastic bit of work Sir on an awesome piece of equipment. Well done 👍 I have a montage and I’d really love it if you could maybe do a break down video on how you build a track like that from start to finish.

Thank you so much for checking it out 👍 . I'm afraid I don't have the time to do a tutorial, but I like to recommend BoBeats video to you, that pushed me at the time to give the sequencer a shot : kzbin.info/www/bejne/gYGVoWeXrKuUjqc

finally found somebody was playing with ft! bought the akai mpc live, but it is kind of complicated in workflow/ too much time 2learn. what do you think would the modx/ fantom 0 series be easier to play/ compose fun remixes using vocal/ song samples? i was reccomended for korg nautilus in terms of sampling capabilities. what is your opinion in stand free remixing tool? cheerz, man! nice 2see fast tracker mates!

Thanks so much for writing a comment, Veemi !!! Believe it or not - the MODX was the first Instrument, that suited me for composing such tracks SINCE FASTTRACKER II. Thought about the AKAI MPC as well, but ... the MODX is a really good and fully equipped instrument with - in my opinion - a great sequencer. Yes, you can use samples - although I'm sure it is easier to get them integrated and modified on the MPC - it's made for such things. But it is possible on the MODX, I did it, and it works pretty fine if you prepare your samples well. I say that a lot - but check out BoBeats Video concerning the sequencer. It moved me to give the sequencer a shot !!! kzbin.info/www/bejne/gYGVoWeXrKuUjqc

Great job! Loved Fasttracker too, did a lot with it.. Nice that you remixed your own work! How did you attach the dice to your pitchbend wheel? Looks really useful

A man that knows what I'm talkin' about - Fasttracker II - a lot of effort, but it was worth it ... good old times, Expectaz !!! ... yeah, I really appreciate KORGs Joysticks as I have it on my TRITON LE ... so I had to find my solution for the MODX. I sanded the dice down on one side and hot-glued it onto the pitchbend-wheel ... and now: no matter how dark your stage may be :-)))
