I tried to be a regular guy once lol! It was terrible. I wanted to be humble so sold my 2023 Staccato CS and went to a hellcat pro comp. I sold it immediately after the first range trip and bought a 2024 Staccato CS with all the bells and whistles (dlc barrel,flat trigger,x-serrations) Amazing machine that will never be sold.

Time to sell or trade my never used zev technologies 0z9 standard covert elite with all the goodies sro and everything for a staccato it's just set in the safe purchased through zev.

My FFL had a Staccato XL that a LEO had ordered- I’m sure it wasn’t for duty but more of a fun kind of thing. The one that I saw was the SECOND one that they had to send out to his customer…the first one ran full auto out of the box… it may sound funny or humorous on paper, but in real life, it can result in somebody’s immediate death… so it’s shit like that that just makes you go…um…yeah…Gaston maybe didn’t make the most EXCITING widget-but you know- much like the Stanley screwdriver IT EFFING DOES WHAT IT IS SUPPOSED TO…
@pliskin13x4 сағат бұрын
Staccatos are grossly overrated and overpriced. They belong in competition, I'd never trust my life to one as a duty gun.

I actually just sold my X macro and came back to Glock for the same reason the whole time I had the macro my soul hurt and the macro was beginning to rust and I just knew it could never be a Glock and I plan on never switching my carry again

Metal backplates will wear down the plastic plunger that is fixed in the spring (back) end of the ejection rod, leading to potential failure. Glock uses plastic plates for a legitimate purpose.
@SharpThinkingKnives8 сағат бұрын
I actually will have to change my plate back then. Thank you for this info 🤝

It has the Glock “minus connector” which drops the pull weight by about 1lb. This is because Glock recognizes the 34 as a “competition” weapon.

Are those Primätia slide release levers scraping into your slide finish? I can’t really tell from here but it does seem like it does have some scrapes on the slide in that area when you move the gun in the light. They do have a warning for that on the website. Hopefully the Gen 5 finish is hard enough to resist it well enough.
@SharpThinkingKnives9 сағат бұрын
Nah it took the finish right off. It’s easier to see in the pictures I have of it on instagram. It almost looks like a nickel finish once it wears off.
@shootingscience9 сағат бұрын
@ LOL, dang dude. I wonder if one could bend them outwards like 1mm to prevent that. I would assume so?
@SharpThinkingKnives8 сағат бұрын
@ you definitely could but they get bent inwards during use and running them in a safariland they actually bend the kydex out to make it in and out of the holster
@shootingscience8 сағат бұрын
@ I bet you could bend the levers outwards a tiny bit and then warm up the kydex of your holster in that area with a heat gun and let the gun sit in the holster with the newly slightly bent out levers and then move the gun in and out while warm and then let it sit in there until cooled and it would work. (I’ve done that before with other accessories on pistols)

I own Sigs, Springfield XD’s, an IWI Masada, M&P’s and CZ’s. I avoided Glock for about 4 years. I bought a Glock 19 2 years ago and now my other pistols don’t get range time. My Glock 19 & 17 are the only pistols on my CCW Permit.

I've tried to get off my dependency on Glocks for years - I even bought a SIG P365 X-MACRO almost two years ago for exactly this reason. But no matter what I do, I can't seem to find anything that I like better (in fact, I'm planning to buy a G45 this year).
@arsenal_61611 сағат бұрын
Glock Performance trigger? Is that the part you blanked on? lol. Does that come standard on the Gen5 34? Not sure if I'd wanna put that upgrade into my 17 or just get a flat trigger shoe and keep everything else stock. Or change nothing and keep it as is.
@SharpThinkingKnives10 сағат бұрын
It was the minus connector that I blanked on. I have heard the performance triggers are nice but less reliable internally. I would keep everything stock minus the shoe for reliability sake.

I have a brother who loves his Staccato. But, as a SWAT operator I don't think he should risk the malfunction factor. I ring steel at 58 yards with my Glock 23 and Halosun all day long. Love it ❤. Thank you for the video. Those are beautiful rigs you got there.

Ever tried anything with a precocked striker? PDP P99 Canik rival/mete etc etc… all the reliability of a poly striker gun with a trigger that makes shooting it much more pleasant.

Glocks are obviously respected around the world, with the majority of militaries using some form of a G17 as a sidearm. We all agree man lol.
@BOLLING7118 сағат бұрын
I watched this whole video and started to agree with you. Get couple Glocks and simplify my life. It all made sense. Then I walked back to the safe and picked up my Sig P226 Legion. Yea, that Glock thing is not going to happen.

I love my long slide g24. Has 3 port extended barrel (6.5”) Johnny glocks triggers, extended slide release/stop, well flare, tritium tall suppressor sights and milled for just a cheap vortex but it works beautifully! My favorite Glock by far but I have a g23 I use a lot so I wanted the 24 so they’d both be .40. I have several 9mm but those particular I wanted 23 and 24

Staccato sucks it’s overpriced because of the name the Smith & Wesson all metal beat all guns in the torture test
@ShaneS-b9f19 сағат бұрын
Staccato isn't really a carry more range and race not to mention if you ever had to use it in self defense it be tough to swallow a 3k firearm being confiscated vs a 600 dollar firearm being confiscated

@SharpThinkingKnives i bought mine almost a year ago, they are awesome little pews. Never had any issues from mine and it's been suppressed probably 85% of the time. I got a prodigy 4.25 comp Not a “staccato” but in my experience with it it was a blast. Shot great. Never jammed. Smooth as butter. Currently waiting on a email from wager machine works for my Glock 30 slide to come back from getting direct acro cut. Suppresor height sights. And FDE cerakote I carried my prodigy for months but went with my 19C with acro, Taran tactical +5 Went back to Glock as well

I’ve stuck with Glock and m&p for years. I think guns like the staccato are cool, but there’s no way I can justify the cost of something like that. Especially when the Glock and m&p pistols work every time for 1/4 the price

Why do so mamy staccato owners end up hating the staccato?
@SharpThinkingKnives23 сағат бұрын
I wouldn't say they hate staccato. I still really like staccato. Many of them feel the features aren't worth the cost and sacrifice over other platforms
@samuelroses2121Күн бұрын
I'm the same way with my M&P 2.0 it just works and I trust it. I've tried sig and don't trust it as much, so I'm sticking with Smith and Wesson and Glock (we carry Glock on duty) 👍

I hate Glock triggers and, especially, the grip angle, that being said, PDP’s and M&P’s do it for me. After seeing expensive 2011’s from Atlas, Staccato etc, go down in classes I’ve taken I opted not to go that route.

The 34 comes with the Minus connector. I put that in my G19 with a gen 3 trigger bar and polished - that trigger is all OEM and phenomenal for a Glock.

I own the Sig p320 and the p356 fuse I love my p320 but the p365 fuse has some very minor issues mostly when I insert a new magazine the slide will automatically go home before I hit the slide release. To me, that is a bit of a safety concern, and I'm kinda thinking about trading it in for the glock 19.

Greeting from a fellow Ohioan. I’m in northwestern Ohio about 20 minutes from the lake so yeah, it gets cold up here lol. I’m too much of a gun whore to just stick with one platform or caliber. I literally like them all from micro 9’s to full size magnum revolvers and everything in between. Can’t go wrong with a Glock, I’m down to just 4 of them currently.
