I’ve got my 43x MOS on order. I’m curious why you chose to mill the slide vs run, say, a Holosun 507k with DPP adapter plate? I get Trijicon is USA made vs. China so I’m speculating it was due to reliability. I have Sig P365 XL comp and it’s plug and play for optics. Personally, I’m extremely confident with irons but I think I will force myself into the transition. I might have the 43 machined…still debating. I error on doing anything to compromise integrity of my EDC.

I just like the rmr. It's a lot of hassle to go through for an optic but I had the trijicon tism' flare up when I got the gun in hand 😂

What option did you choose from c&h after the cut? Leave bare metal, black nitride entire slide, cerakote only milled areas? Thanks

I did cerakote because I feel that it's a better topcoat to prevent corrosion. I only did it where the cut was done

@@SharpThinkingKnives thanks a lot man! I’m planning on sending mine in soon and am just looking for any possible suggestions from people who have had work done by them

is the slide susceptible to cracking since the bridge between the extractor and RMR cut is so small?

I'm actually not sure. Assuming they ran proper coolant and left enough material it shouldn't be an issue. I haven't seen any failures to date. These smaller guns typically don't see as many rounds as the 17s and 34s so I'm not surprised by the lack of failures.

North coast tactical, I want to say this one is the Ally.
