This is extremely helpful, especially if the security system override doesn’t work. My dad got so bad to the point where I couldn’t do a manual override. Shifting the gears this way removes the vehicle not in park quickly. I almost got my car towed until I saw this video. Thank you very much.

Here we had a bad intake manifold gasket. Engine had overheated and melted the intake manifold. The valve cover leaked oil so I replaced it since I was already there.

You dont have to take off the lower bracket. You can get the one bolt by slipping a long extension right behind it. I did it this past weekend. It took about 20 minutes start to finish.

What type of battery did you use to replace can you get a battery from AutoZone or advance Auto or do you need to order it from the Porsche dealer? At this moment my vehicle won't start and I tested with my multimeter and it's measuring 11.03 for volts and I read that means it's no good and needs to be replaced So I'm trying to figure out how I can get a battery that's not almost $800

First charge it. Take it to auto zone. It's an AGM battery thus the price

@@littletonybekind I tried to charge it with jumpers for 25 minutes ,the car still won't turn over. I even had roadside assistance come and boost and they were telling me it's my starter but with my voltage that low from what I read it's actually the battery and the vehicle has sat for 5 to 6 months during the winter.

U need to take the natterybout of the car and get it tested. The battery should be minimum 14.4 volts. Once charged and if the car does not start, it could be a starter or a few other things. If someone tried to jump start u it's likely not the battery but my diagnosis are not on probability but rather FACTS. Anyhow. Before replacing the starter one needs to make sure the starter is getting a signal when trying to crank the motor. Yourltube diagnose a bad starter. Good luck.

@@littletonybekind I took the battery out of the car took it to Advance Auto they tested and it said it needed to be charged the cold crank was 100 they charged it for 30 minutes and I installed it and my car is running. Thanks for your assistance. I was going to try everything in my power before I had to take it to a mechanic. I never changed a battery in my life let alone taking one out of a foreign car.
