@ssrasta218 if it's old fluid yes, get as much of it out. If it's new Coolant then only bleed it after the replacement.

@littletonybekind it was sold as is.. motor is still working I can hear it.. Only has 55k miles on a 2017.. I'm assuming it's sat around for a while plus they're sap on it thusly I'm thinking there's something that got up in there maybe the sap and it's not allowing it to move... looked around on the forums and people are saying to clean the track by taking it out (by taking out the mysky panels) not really sure how to do that but I'm watching videos

@TwitchRadio is the motors working it means it's getting power and ground but it does not mean that's working as it's supposed to be maybe the gear is stripped because something costs the motor to bind such as tree leaves or mud. I would highly recommend cleaning that first as best as possible good luck

@littletonybekind there is this thick tree sap on the car.. the dealer agreed to clean it just have to wait for them to schedule it though like always.. but yeah I'm going to take it out later tomorrow when the weather is better and have a look at the track and have a look and see what's going on... I'm assuming being it's only has 55k on it it sat under a tree or something for a hot minute and probably has a bunch of crud in there... I'm just glad the my sky comes apart completely so you can clean it and fix it if need be.. My first Jeep products so wish me luck

@TwitchRadio that will defenetly force the motor. Wait till they clean it.

@ElizabethPriniski it it breaks a technical will have to go from the wheel well and replace it. Dealer part likely. I would use a stronger string type kind of material.

@sethtravis2351 u can try manually. Disconnect the battery for 30 minutes. Then connect the battery. Put the key in the on position without starting the car. Slowly press the pedal down until it bottoms out. Hold it for 5 seconds all the way down and then slowly release the pedal. U can then press the pedal 3 times. Put the key in the off position and then start the car. U can try it a few times. If it does not work u need a mechanic scanner to do it.

@FredLopez-fd6bo just recalibrate the system. The dealer should do it for free if they did it. If not disconnect the battery(s) for 20 minutes and try again

@@littletonybekindYou don’t have to close it I just added one in mine, cut the dotted line and use the regular General Motors cabin air filter at walmart
