You made an obvious mistake during reassembly. 23:50 you found a washer that did not belong there so you removed it. That’s the washer that goes between the turbo fan and the backplate. It should have been installed at 20:36 but you incorrectly assumed it belong to another car

If your spring came out or you broke the cord he just showed you how to fix it for free. It’s an amazing tutorial. There is no easier way than this where you can fix for free

With a servo tester you simply turn the knob to the centre, set the tester to static mode and connect a servo. It will centre itself. Without a servo tester you simply connect it to your normal radio gear with everything turned on and set your radio trims to the centre. So long as there is nothing connected to the servo spindle it will centre itself.

I just did this on my 1/8th Scale Thunder Tiger Pro EB4 S3 -28.. Talk about AWKARD..... lol As of 2024 my car has ONLY run 10 Minutes from Brand new, because of the Pull Starter. Now it is Fixed. Thanks for the Video

Hello. Don’t worry about the age of the video as I am still rebuilding nitro engines which are over 30 years old and the same principle applies to old engines as with new.

Hello. Yes it is close but the rear body mounting holes are different you can make it fit though.

An off topic comment here, do you know if an Hpi Trophy buggy shell will fit on the Kyosho Inferno neo 3 ? Kyosho shells are very expensive and I can't find a clear one for the nitro version. Im oldskool and don't like cab forward shells, so I don't need it to be perfect but is it even close? Thanks!

MT Trucks use an HPI specific 12mm wheel hub adaptor with a small circular but which fits into the wheel. All aftermarket ones, including the extenders don’t have this so will not work properly on MT or Rush trucks. Also the axles are known to be weak. If you think about it, there is a hole for the pin right through a 4mm shaft so the actual strength is down to 1mm each side of the pin. Not enough for the wheel size.

Id suggest to be careful with adding the wheel extensions to MT trucks with larger wheels. Just had 3 axle stubs break in 3 different runs on very soft roll overs. Im running 5.3" duratrax stakker tires so id feel very confident for using these on oneoad touring cars or drift cars. Just not the big chunky tires.

I when I fixed my pull start, I tapped a m3 hole into the centre of the plastic housing, used a flanged 6mm long screw to stop the centre of the spring from ever popping out, worked a charm

Hyper MT sport plus is the model of the car. I am not familiar with that but it probably uses a standard Hobao engine. Can you tell me what model engine is fitted and I will give you settings. ( it should say on the side of the crankcase.)

Hello, I've just found myself a TS4N Pro V2 with the Mini body that's in amazingly good condition, apart from some corrosion on the chassis from the previous owner leaving AA batteries in the harness. There isn't a single scratch on the underside of the chassis. The previous owner told me that he had it running twice before being unable to start it & putting it in his shed years ago & forgetting about it. I've flushed ďcleaned the fuel system & replaced the (dead) glow plug so I'm in no doubt it's going to run fine. (If not I've got two spare Force 18 engines) 😉 Okay, enough gloating.. 😂 😂 I've got a question to ask you... How freely should I be able to push the car on a flat surface with all three belts on but without the engine fitted.? I'm unfamiliar with belt driven RC chassis & although smooth, there's more resistance than I'd find acceptable on a shaft driven chassis. I've added a small drop of lubricant to the bearings but to be honest I doubt they're seized in any way. There's nothing rubbing or catching & the brakes are free. Is this just normal for a belt driven chassis.? It does seem to me that it will drive okay.. Thank you for this series, I found it extremely useful.!! Hello. Sounds like you have a good car there. To answer your question you should be able to push it with a little resistance, but not too much. It sounds like the belts may be too tight. These can be adjusted by changing the position of the cam adjusters which are located on the side of the differentials both front and back. It’s not an easy job and will take some time but it’s definitely worth doing. Just to make sure that the cam adjusters are equal both sides of the deaf to keep the belt running straight. Hope that helps.

@@tompledger7859Thanks for that, I literally just found that about the cams in the PDF manual... Snazzy.! 👍 👍 I've got the car fully reassembled & I believe it's all okay. The servo's needed to be replaced of course.. 😉 😉 I've also fitted a modern radio reciever & a 2S lipo to run it. It's pretty much as it was when it first came out the box 20? years ago. I've finally found one of those Ebay gems I see people on KZbin bragging about.! 😉 😂 😂 The belts are in perfect condition & have a little play in them. I didn't realise that the car wasn't fully ballraced so that explains the slight resistance. (I have most of the bearings I think but I'm keen to run it so that's a job for another day) If I push the car & let go it freewheels for a few feet. I do have another question for you though.. Shall I leave the belt pulleys on bushings or swap them for bearings too.? I imagine bearings would be better but this is my first belt driven chassis. Thank you.. First day. Bent chassis, broken pull starter, blew the entire steering assembly to hell. Kyosho 2005 car from nitro magazine. Feel like a tit now hahaha. If anyone wants to advise me on how to upgrade or what to upgrade with when it comes to front/rear steering assembly, radio/servos etc that would fit this car I'm all ears. Belonged to a now deceased family member so would love to keep it alive long term to pass on to my son when he grows up
