Thank you sir, can't believe some e bike or motorbike owners visiting mechanics to get these kind of things done.. like changing brake pads, tires, etc.. save money and time. Self. Repair

As others have stated, use the hex end of 13/16 sparkplug socket. Remove the rubber plug holder from the socket and insert an extension back into the open end (where a sparkplug would go). Removed my wheel today to send off for new rubber. Ordered a 22mm hex socket off the jungle website for install.

Will pushing the dirty fluid to the reservoir cause any problems. I know it's not recommended for cars due to possible contamination of master cylinder....
@YogisCycleService
@YogisCycleService 24 күн бұрын
In 20 years of doing it I have not had any ill side effects. Just keep punching it through till its the same color as what you're putting in and keep sucking out the old fluid.

Set your blocks ON the bead breaker then set the tire/rim on the blocks. Wrap a strap around the tire and the up right to keep it from pushing out. Theres a little angle iron nub welded to the base that would hook the rim on a car tire to keep it from pushing out, it can’t engage with your rim because of the sprocket and brake rotor. They make a rack and pinion style bead breaker that resembles a massive c clamp with a ratcheting handle. Though this style lacks the capacity to do larger car tires it takes up very little space and is a treat for motorcycles tires and small car tires. The rack and pinion style can actually break the bead while the tire is still on the bike.

So generally you have to drill a hole into the center of the screw first, then tap the extractor into the hole with a hammer or mallet. From there, put a tap handle on and twist it out counter clockwise or throw your drill on the extractor in reverse. I didn't see you predrill a hole for the extractor first. Maybe that was why it didn't work the first time? 🤷‍♂️ this method almost always works.
