the problem is when you want everything, i have my own collection and sometimes is so hard to haunt all the merch, i got the perfume for my character too (mine is from Kuroko no Basket), but i get the struggle, great video !

This was such an informative video!! The NieR anime has definitely opened the NieR series to SO much more merch which is super exciting (but also a little hard to keep up with 😅). Season 2 will bring about even more merch and I cant wait to get obsessed with NieR all over again Also, the editing in this video is incredible (and so funny!)

You have no idea how happy I am to see this video 😭 Eunie's my favorite character and I've been wanting to cosplay him for years but kinda put aside doing a cosplay to work on other ones. Then I found out there's a witch hat panel at AX this year so here I am, also with a one month con crunch working on a eunie cosplay lol the tablecloth idea is kinda genius ngl and if I weren't nixing the cape entirely in favor of the wolf pelt (going more off his appearance in ch 67.5), I'd totally do that. I'll probably keep it in mind if I ever get around to doing his og cape. You gave me a lot to think about with his undergarments and how to search for things for it which was SO helpful TuT You're the first eunie cosplayer I've seen and it was good to see you encountered another one in the wild at a con! Now I know two lol I love how your eunie cosplay came out :> the video was great to watch as well, I started your selim cos video and they're v nice to have in the background but I find myself also wanting to pay attention to whatever's going on as well which defeats the purpose of background noise haha The way you broke down the process and video was really nice to follow ^^

I don't know much about nier besides the basics but I can just tell how much it means to you and it's seriously relatable, I love the way the video is formatted btw! The transitions to the sections titles, etc its very fun to watch. Your dolls are seriously super cute too!!

I laugh so hard at the "Partners" scene, I don't know why but 9S face was so expressive even so he's a doll jkhfkfffd. Incredible video as usual, It was so nice to see the dolls progress with blush. I related too much with the blush over the top as the time go on.... At the end my doll is sooo blushed with so much freckles and moles lol.

Other vocaloids ARE definitely neglected. Also i agree the faces look off.

I understand this from a very, from my perspective, similar but different angle. I collect transformers rather than dolls. I do appreciate BJDs a ton, I was super interested in getting some as a teenager but never ended up getting into it on a significant level because it seemed like a majority were just so *fragile*. The plastic robot fellas are primarily kids toys in comparison, some of them even specifically made for toddlers, so the dangers of damage just from displaying them in the open were much easier to prevent. But I was primarily collecting them because I liked the characters and I just... wanted to take care of them. I liked having them around my dorm, I like having them on my desk at work. They're my silly little guys and being able to take them out of the context of an ongoing forever war and instead knit them dumb hats or pose them with doll furniture and accessories makes me happy. I'm glad you found satisfaction in your own little guys :)

Watching this, I kept thinking back to something you said in an earlier video, about how they live in your house now and so they get to be happy... 9S gets to keep his earrings (your idea about 2B giving them to him and being quietly pained every time he comes back to her with empty unpierced ears is PERFECTION, oh my stars), and 2B gets to have a more comfortable bust size, and they both have freckles now and YOU HAVE TINY VINYL ANDROIDS IN YOUR HOUSE AND THIS STRANGER HERE IS EMOTIONAL ABOUT IT. The ways you've made them individuals and the way you're so enthusiastic about it is both inspiring and endearing. Now, to the questions you raised at the video's end, or some of them anyway... I've been intimidated by the idea of body blushing for almost as long as I've admired ABJDs and Dollfie Dream-type vinyl dolls, but seeing your process footage here makes it a lot less intimidating. It's always made sense to me given the general more-realistic-than-fashion-dolls aesthetic, but it always seemed like it required steadier nerves than I've got. I think maybe that's just because I never actually watched anyone doing it before! I've been stalled out on working towards my grail doll's perfect look - he'd been wiped blank when I got him - but honestly now the idea of making his hands look warm and maybe even giving him a few scars along with, say, subtly visible veins on his upper chest is less intimidating than trying to make his perma-scowling face's eyebrows look right.

I personally cant control my wallet when I see Witch Hat stuff at a table but I realise I'm likely an exception. Omg I came accross your video on my home page, It was amazing !!! I loved to follow your journey to find the perfect style for 2B. I totally recall the fact to find the perfect wig, I bought a fur wig for my LUTS MSD, But I don't know it wasn't right, so I trimmed it but I think i'll have to get another one arghh. I don't know really well Nier Automata, but i loved the style of the character design (espcially 9S), so maybe I'll give it a try by watching the anime or a let's play. Your dedication makes me want to redo my BJD Make-up, I have this project for a while but I know it's going to be a looong work. So thank you again, I hope to see other video of your :D

I will fill it exhaustively. 1) I suppose I do like dollfie dreams, though not over any other brand or style. But 2) I do not collect dolls - Luka was purchased to be a single beautiful face during a time where I was somewhere rather depressing. I call him the Ambassador of Light for this reason. I might purchase a second doll someday that is a more standard 1/4 size so I can actually get clothes that fit. 3) I do like nier automata and that is what brought me to this video! Well, indirectly. I followed you on tumblr because some of your posts showed up in the 9s tag! 4) As mentioned in another comment yes I like 9s a lot.

I am so happy to see more WHA cosplayers! And you had such a big group, that is wonderful to see. When I wear my Olruggio or Qifrey cosplay almost no one knows it but I think that will get better when the anime finally airs. Ít is so nice to see a background character like Eunie, I think you are only the second one I see (and I don’t mean the one you also mentioned in this video). I totally get you with buying the stuff for his undergarments, because why not? It is often cheaper then buying the fabric and then spending hours on sewin. I did. the same on my leggings for Olly and Qif. Be smarter, don’t work harder. But I admit seeing you concrunching is really stressful for me XD I am the exact opposite to the point that I finished my costumes so far ahead of a planned convention that I am sometimes not excited to wear it anymore (I do hyperfixate strong,y on something but this phase mostly lasts for 1 year before something new replaces it). The way you explained everything was informative and easy to follow, I liked the voice over and added pictures for explanation as well. I never heard about dickies before, that was a surprise! Looks like a very practical thing. And though I am cosplaying for 15 years and thinking I know most of the basics I never heard about letting the fabric hang (what you talked about at 32:50 ).Very interesting, learned something new today! The last few photos you took (that look like you are in the cloak) turned out great! I am really digging the idea behind it.
