Thank you for the compliments 😭 You’re so kind! I’m hoping that posting regularly will bring more attention to the channel. Until then, making videos is refreshing for me, so I’m having fun. The skits were very fun to make. I’m glad you liked them! Making nendoroids was very intimidating for me and I don’t think I’d have done it without nendo dolls! I’m much more comfortable sewing the outfits than sculpting them with clay

I really liked it how it turned out! But I’ll give you a few tips. Buy a cheap airbrush, it does the work really well, you can make shadows with them and it’s gonna look amazing. Try to use Tamiya clear, it’s less abrasive and it’s doesn’t damage the paint. Anddd cheap tip, if you want a flat surface, rustoleum frosted glass, I use them on my models. Overall it’s really really looks great!

Thank you for the tips. Do you have suggestions for an airbrush? I’ve been wanting to get one but I don’t want to waste my money on a junky one. Oooh I just got some Tamiya clear. Do you mean use it as a sealant?
@Oscar145able2 жыл бұрын
@@tipsy_scales The Neo CN from iwata is the best one to start, and it’s usually on sale in amazon, the junky ones are kinda, meh, not bad but not good, but still, they are useful for sealing the paint. And yesss, the Tamiya clear is for sealing the paint or weathering, but it depends on how you want to use it, you can use the clear for a shinny surface, like accessories or parts of the clothes (if they are plastic), and the flat surface, is more for the body and the hair. If you need tips or cheap tips I can help you lmao, I’m kinda of a cheapskate in this hobby 🥴

@@Oscar145able Oh cool! I got Tamiya clear as a gloss for doll faceups but I didn’t realize it’d be useful elsewhere. I could really use some advice about primers. I’ve quickly realized they’re super important but am not sure what to use. I popped into the hobby section of the craft store but the selection was pretty bad so looks like I’ll have to go online 🥲 Was hoping to better myself by grabbing something to try out but I ended up discouraged ahaha

@@tipsy_scales I use gloss on accessories, whether be swords, guns, microphones or even jewelry. And flat or matte clear coats or the skin and hair, and it really makes it look great with the combinations. Using primers are important like brushing your teeth 🥴, if you don’t use it, it can harm your figure. The lacquer can eat the paint or worse, the plastic. I usually use Mr. Surface or Tamiya thin primer, but if you don’t want to keep it cheap🥴, use rusteoleuom primer, I use it for everything, model kits, figures, anything lmao, just be sure to use the one for plastic, trust me lol

So cool! I love her, you're so talented. Btw, I think we have all been there....I was a big manga/book collector and then college came and 😅😅 I had to sell and donate most of it 😭😭. I'll probably go back to collecting in the future

It’s been really nice going back to the hobby! And my figure preferences have changed so I was able to sell off some old figures to funnel back into buying new ones.

Omg she looks so good ❤ How does the spray paint hold up I'm curious. Also love all the little skits.

She’s mostly been on my shelf so I haven’t had a good test of how well it holds up. Pride is looking a little raggedy but his base hair was already black so it’s hard to tell if it’s the sealer or paint itself wearing. Paint rub transfer to her faces is still a problem on Lust but not on Pride after a while
