Repainting My Hello! Goodsmile Shinji Figure

A video very long in the making...as in I filmed it months ago, was overwhelmed by editing it, and then finished editing very quickly. Whoop.

there’s no good part hahaha I can only stand for the non human funko types, cause they seen a little better when they dont do that terrifying nose and the squared head…. it could be so much better, but the initial design is just awful 😞 Nice job on the paiting btw!

He turned out super cute! I’m with you on the dead fish eyes being a cute feature, when they add so much detail to some plush or chibis it starts getting uncanny valley for me

Heck this was an awesome watch!!! Love what you did to introduce us into the video, I seriously prefer your painted face ver of this rather than the official face. The official face really lacks life, kinda gives off FUNKO POP vibes, so you defo removed that vibe off with those new eyes!

Thank you for watching! Ngl I don’t hate the normal faces. The eyes look like they were made with a marker which I think is cute. Cuter than what Funko is going for at least LOL but yeah I do like my version a lot because it’s suited to my taste 😄
