I was looking forward to playing as a space trucker, after watching how clumsy this was, i am not anymore. The way you have to keep track of, load in the elevator, hand pick every box and load to the ship. You spent about 23min! loading the ship, 23!! And that is just what you are showing in the video, i bet you made some cuts. I really hope they keep the auto loading/unloading option, because this is not fun gameplay! It is making it harder, for the sake of making it harder. Why is the Mobiglass taking up the hole screen? It is an device that sits on your arm, it should be used as a MFD, secondary display of to the side. So you can look to the side to read the information and then look straight to the cargo screen. Why are they separate menus? For all the manual labor you need to do, they pay is crap! Disappointing.

With the new hotfix for irem insurance in ahip done by CIG, I dont advise new players spend anything on upgrading ships. Components are now lost on claim and ships revert to stock. Including components and weapons. With all the random and unexplainable ship deaths as well as murder hobos, just are not going to keep anything added to ships.

Hey man, great content. What do you think about the bottle neck CIG have created at the 100 SCU mark for medium haulers. If feels awkward and deliberate forcing players to either buy a Zeus CL or rent a last gen FL MAX . A RAFT or Hull A doesn’t quite cut it. No doubt the incoming (TBC) Hull B will fit right in though. For a second there I thought you were going to pick a Taurus at which point I would’ve switched off as most people don’t have access to one of those BUT respect to you! You chose the Origin and showed the difficulty in progression for the hauling route despite having done more cargo hauling than most of us put together. 💪

During quantum my ship crashed into a planet with 2 hauling missions inside. My hour of game play completely wasted

Thanks for that, I was having problems at first competing my first cargo mission but whatever they did to hot fix has the missions working now. Always great to have more money making options as we start fresh in 4.0.

out of 10 missions only 1 will spawn the cargo. out of 10 missions you manage to receive spawned cargo from only 1 will accept the cargo. out of 10 missions you fly to target it's 5 times the hangars will not open or bug out one way or another. why would you want to torture anyone with this crap.

You didn't read the ASOP terminal wrong, the terminal is wrong about some ships right now. For instance, it shows the spirit C1 and A1 as both having 64 SCU of cargo storage. If you've been aboard the A1, you know that is definitely not the case.

Weird, it's giving you access to the cargo bay of a 315p (12SCU), when you have a 350r (4SCU). You should only have access to the rear cargo bay.

to make it even easier just take the same contracts with only one delivery destination .... sometimes u can chain up 4 or more and make 200k a run

Orison Seraphim space station to august space station is 7 low missions. 334k a trip from Seraphim to August. You can rent a C1 for 68k for 1 day at orison and buy a Argo Atlas (makes loading and unloading easy). about 25min to do all 7, load and unload. There is also 1 mission 37k back up to the station

Starlnacer bed get up works, but Freelancer you are totally stuck. Cant even suicide. Wbich means you have to wait and die from thirst or hunger before you can do anything

for some reason my hauling contracts seem to be a bit bugged. I am able to get the cargo from the freight elevator but when i try to deliver them and i send the freight elevator down it doesn't allow me to complete the contract.

My hull C is stuck on ", commencing cargo transfer" when offloading. A dozen attempts over the past day. Some stations cause black screen if you board via the docking port. Wish I had a solution for offloading cargo :(

It's a pity failed contract cargo can't be go to place where the failed missions cargo are left and you can buy the contract to deliver the boxes.

Hauling missions are a fantastic money earner and they worked great when 4.0 first dropped but I've given up on them for now. I'll be lucky if I get one mission to work correctly. Most of the time either the elevator won't accept the cargo or it does get accepted but the mission doesn't complete. Plus you've still got the issue of outpost elevators being broken so I've only been doing station to station or station to city missions.

Had a great server today 26 hauling contracts made 2 mil. Definitely worth a big ship rental to grind some aUEC to by a ship. I’m saving for the Vulture

4.0 is incredible. Worth it. I haul cargo like the video. However.... soo many unrecoverable issues still as this rolls out. Example: Cargo mission from Seraphim to three other Daymar locations to deliver. Brio's Freight elevators refused cargo, saying it was BLOCKING the freight elevator. "Polish" is sometimes important even if our development isn't really ready for polish. Nope. Not into bounty hunting as a workaround.

I've been playing SC since Day One and didn't know the "double click the attachment to slot it into the multi tool" trick, so I learned something new today! 😂

Just had my first successful 4.0 game this evening doing my first Spaceport to Space Station cargo run - I was able to then do another x3 in one go using my Starlancer for the first time and i've went from the starting cash to just shy of $500,000. I've been waiting to play 4.0 since it was released to preview but i've been hit with game breaking bugs but tonight was my fist bug free evening. the cloud tech looks great and i may even venture to Pyro tomorrow for the first time...

As a PVE player myself Pyro is an area that doesnt interest me at all. If all you do is get killed and PVP. No thanks.

My issue with commodity trading is that it's so easy to lose your ship to a server crash. Why risk all thous credits? No other profession exposes you to that kinda risk. Even Hauling missions are an issue. You may not have any credits on the line, but if you're doing a six contract at a time run and the server drops. You just wasted over an hour for nothing. Plus now, you've got a ton of useless cargo you need to ditch somewhere.

You can also load an Ursa into a Zeus but not the C1.

If you're willing to put off-grid containers into ships, the Intrepid can take 12 SCU with two in the compartment where the proper cargo elevator grids can be accessed from the interior; plus a couple in the gangway near the main door. The Intrepid has good quantum fuel range for Pyro travel, too. If you leave the interior access doors to the cargo grids open you can also use the cargo elevator grids to enter / exit the ship as an alternative to using the main door.

I've never noticed, maybe since I've done like one cargo run... but can you be intercepted by npc pirates, such as in Elite Dangerous? Would be cooled if they pulled you out of QT and tried to rob you. lol

contracted cargo is unfortunatley still more profitable than doing your own trafe runs which doesnt make any sense to me

i got jebaited again :D PURCHASED cargo got it loaded, cargo nowhere, everytime i try to haul i lost large amount of credits.

I was able to buy and carry 32scu containers from mining stations in Microitech area.
