Not to knock the game or the franchise but, I’m just confused why this is the PlayStation game that got a Lego spinoff. Like, I would’ve thought God of War, Crash Bandicoot, Spyro, Ratchet and Clank, would’ve made a bit more sense, and I think more recognizable. I could be wrong of course. (Edited to fix dumb grammar issue)

I am actually excited for this and since Sony does have more IP than maybe in the future there can be more Lego games and sets. Crash and Spyro though aren't own by Sony.

@ oh, don’t get me wrong, I’m excited for fans of the franchise getting a Lego game, I just didn’t think Horizon was that big. And really? I thought at least Crash was, considering they were PlayStations mascots for a while

One of the more confusing bits of this world of ours for me personally is how Horizon isn’t on more people’s Mount Rushmore of gaming. It’s in the top 5 game series I’ve played in my 35 years.

God of war, Spiderman, the batman games, Jake and dexter, dragon ball, ghost of tsushima, kingdom hearts, and Star wars are better games and series of games than Horizon.

Only four playable characters? Even with the customization unlocks that's going to cut back on the replayability of a Lego game, a series known for its gigantic character rosters and in-level uses for the special powers associated with them through puzzles and hidden elements. May well turn into a one-and-done game.

I loved Horizon Zero Dawn and thought it was about to be one of my favorite games if the final boss was the Metal Devil…and then I liked Forbidden West a lot and am interested to see how they wrap the story up now…and I’ve appreciated the charm of Lego games, so yeah sure. I’ll buy the Lego Horizon game.

Horizon zero dawn was my favorite PS4 game (haven't gotten around to forbidden West yet, life has gotten in the way) The only Lego games I've really played is the Star wars ones which were enjoyable. Overall was really excited when they announced this game and I'm very happy to hear that it's an enjoyable experience

I think this is the Lego game for me. I have been turned off by how massive the Lego games have gotten lately. I tried to play the skywalker saga from the PS+ free game and it was just too much stuff to do. I like that this is straight forward and the while the character roster could be bigger I’m glad it’s not bloated like previous entries. In my opinion they could do with cutting down, most of the time it’s a few unique abilities and then a bunch of characters to fill it out.

I was so surprised when Lego made horizons a Lego game but it does makes a lot of sense for an adaptation for Lego and I glade for it I remember when I only saw the trailer for the original game and was hyped for years and when I played it was so happy but man do their released dates often competed with already existing ips but yeah love the game it’s fun

I saw on another review they said it took about 12 hours for the story, over 20 to do 100% with all the collectibles etc. No idea how true it is, but the 12-15 mark probably seems right.

I feel like this just muddies the Lego brand as an outside observer, i thought these games were reserved for special and established IPs, like a collaboration almost. This just makes me say, "oh, I guess everything is getting a lego game now!"

If all you took away from the two games so far is that it’s about robot dinosaurs, then you missed a lot of what it’s actually about. Like, a lot. Combat and robots are integral to the series, but it’s flat wrong to say it’s just about that. I think the series gets panned for the same reasons that people praise other games. I like Horizon a lot, and it’s not for everyone, but it’s a flagship franchise now for a reason.
