this song sorta showed me that weird is OK and that it can sometimes be incredible. I've always thought of myself as a weird,dork of a kid. y'know,the kind that the popular girl makes fun of in every Disney movie. i like things kids my age think are weird/babyish. i just wanna fit in,but no matter how hard i try,i end up being weird. up until recently,i have felt like i needed to fit in to be cool. but then i started to read Percy Jackson. my brother got me into it sorta,but what relly did it was me doing theater camp this summer. our high school did Percy Jackson as their play this year. and so we performed 3 of the songs from the lightning thief. after that,i started getting into Percy Jackson. i just started the titans curse. i realized i don't have to fit in. i can be weird. because normal IS a myth. everyone is weird in their own special way.

It’s almost summer and I’m praying that someone will take me to camp i want to be there and make friends and only have to worry about winning capture the flag and hopeing not to get a quest

Whenever I listen to musical songs I like to imagine the actors are holding microphones. The actors are still singing into mics on their faces but the mics they are holding are really fun to play around with while singing. Ex. In Camp Fire Song they pass the physical mic around the stage to all the soloists and when it is full ensemble singing Luke is the one who is holding/singing into the fake mic to show that he is running the show and trying to get the camp against their parents, so freaking cool. In this song Clarrise starts with the mic but Annabeth takes it from her and they fight over it the entire song 😂 I did it with the entire show 🤩Some of the time everyone has a fake mic like in lost or The Day I Got Expelled where Luke, Annabeth and the other campers in the opening before Percy comes out has mics and Percy has a mic when he comes out. Other times they share mics (or fight over them) like Camp Fire and Put you in your Place. Funny thing I wanted to mention after Grover’s part in Camp Fire Song someone takes his mic in a “okay that’s enough” kinda way. I thought it was funny. I would like to reiterate I did this no one else but me and I would full credit to who ever used it (I’m just kidding) (or am I) (you’ll never know) *evil laughter
