One of the finest Malkauns ever recorded. Is this Ustad Nizamuddin Khan on the tabla?

It is not the singing but recording that's not good enough. Too much noise from around

Scintillating Hindol! The way she descends and hits the shadja at the Sam so perfectly in every avartan rightly potrays golden droplets hitting earth, the yellow flowers of Basant and so is the bandish, Kanak boond parilwa! (Translation: the yellow flowers are in full bloom, it appears to be a shower of gold!) Her exceptional command over the medium and emotion is just uncanny. Gaansaraswati for a reason!

If there is God then this is it…there is incomprehensible beauty here, exquisite order, and love…and what love! Imbued with deep kindness, embracing our human fragility and frailties. May this be the song that plays in my last moments when I become one with the universe…

एक षड्ज स्वर में बस सब कुछ सिमट गया. और सब कुछ भुला दिया. ऐसा गायन.

Best! But a request to include "nevar baajo re" in the title of this video as it will help people searching for it. The raag is known due to the bandish rather than the other way round! Thanks!

Shree Raag is essentially contemplative in nature. She add a touch of sadness. Makes it haunting. Brilliant. Only a great singer can bring such experience to you.

Chalan also similar to Jaijaiwanti todi of Mewati gharana except for shudh rhishabh?
@nisargsangeet6 ай бұрын
Hussaini todi typically also uses teevra madhyam if I'm not wrong? Tai has not used it here... if anyone knows why please comment! I would be delighted to understand
