Dear Mr. Banerjee, the pitch and speed of the entire recording seems artificially elevated from A# (Kali 5) to C (Safed 1). Whether this happened by error or on purpose while digitizing is not known. But in her long career I can vouch, and all her other disciples will also vouch, that she never sang in any pitch higher than A#, let alone C. Do you have an explanation? What is the source of this recording? Is this from an original spool? Do you know what date and venue, so that I can check from my original collection?
