4:52 i play Raven. Its not new or game breaking. His 1f start up parry evades everything, and he has a parry built into his BB2 that follows up with a divekick. I think a special term is good for it. Actually didnt know anyone else had it lol.

2:11:01 about Leroy f3, 1+2. It means that the punches now jail when the knee hits. I remember seeing this weird quirk when Aris first tested out Leroy in T7. For some reason, f3 string jailed on block (in T7 at least) but didn't do so on hit, so they fixed that.

Rip I play Zafina, you were probably blocking Mantis DF1 which is already plus on block, they are both Azazel claw attacks, the Tarantula DF1 was a safer way to stand back up but it ended your turn, now the party carries on.

glad im not the only one who cant consistently get counterhit ws4 into dss "guarantee" moves, i also get the same inconsistency with sidestep counterhit 3 into dss

I think they nerfed the Law WS4 because it's a full launcher in Heat with DSS F1 in dash, but they could just have made the nerf Heat only.

we need to see how much actual health she and how much health she loses in heat but jun looks bad. even if you are cautious and decide use her kazama power sparingly she will still lose guaranteed health in combos. with her heat still allowing her to health now she can nullify her health loss in combo and she cant go crazy like every other character in the game. to make it worse she loses guaranteed health in heat. she's a glass canon with no scary lows in a game where you can die in 3 interaction

What if they made the player choose between having an “install super” or “heat” at the character select screen. It definitely could increase creativity while adding to the character personality.

This would be impossible to balance. The characters are designed to have both, their heat state is literally just instant access to the install. Add on that nobody is going to choose to not have access to heat mechanics.

Of course people will choose heat because super doesn't make any difference, but heat does. Every characters has similar RA, but not the same heat.

I don't get why Xiaoyu "survived", at least in championships and what the win rate we can gather she isn't busted. Why would need need more nerfs? They reduced the duration of her heat gimmick stuff and said they would change the heat mechanics next patch, with the intent to improve defense, her whole problem is on heat right, which will be changed next patch.

Welp...bye bye Lili on the next balance patch. Chikurin dominating Evo Japan just put Lili on the nerf Hit list. No point is learning her now when she is gonna be nerfed to hell. With all the Leroy and Zafina buffs, especially Zafina, im gonna laugh if we see a repeat of the Leroy fest Evo top 8 but with Zafina.
