43:40 Should every character get access to every system mechanic is an interesting question. RIP has mentioned he wants grabs to be reverted to a 3 way break on every character instead of it being reserved for certain characters, so I guess that's in line with that train of thought. Unblockables are a system mechanic, but probably less than half the cast has a viable one even though they increased the frequency in T8. Parries and Sabakis are a system mechanic, not everyone has one. I could go on and on with examples, but the point is character diversity is important, and every character doesn't need to be able to do the same thing. That being said, I think every character should have a gray life grab, the simplest solution is to give it to at least one side or back grab to promote spacing and movement.

I think what makes Nina strong is that most of her optimal moves are not telegraphed. Her start up animations are so fast that all her combo starters virtually look the same so you can't react. It's not her frames, (which are pretty good) but her animations which make her hard to read. At least to me. She wasn't that much of a problem in T7 as much as she is in T8 even with virtually the same move list. She looks incredibly fast in T8.

She’s hard doesn’t mean she’s not very strong, she is incredibly strong and has tons of tools and it’s fair to say she’s not easy but let’s not act like she’s super hard either to play she has tons of tools and pressure strings and very safe character overall

One thing T8 has that really sucks is that moves that shouldn't whiff typically do especially on wake up animations and other moves hit from a ridiculous range or even when both opponents have their backs to each other. It's so frustrating when you have the perfect wall combo and randomly it just drops even though the execution was perfect. Yet Lily, Azucena, and Asuka and Kazuya are blessed with complete sidewall damage no matter how off axis the combo is.
