@@dabolB There was a newer guy on the grill when I went. I was told that I came on their best grill guy’s only day off. When I judge cheesesteaks, I eat them “as-is” but like I said in the video, it just needed some salt to bring the steak flavor out and not have the cheese n bread carry the sandwich. Seasoned properly, I’d probably agree that it’s right there with Delco’s or better. Funny thing is, I didn’t like Delco’s in Broomall my first time but the one in Folsom I had when shooting the video was much better.

Nice job. Under-seasoning is one of the most common problems I've run into. I did try this place once. I was pretty impressed after the first half (I don't recall there being a seasoning issue), but the meat in the second half was actually a little tougher or more chewy than I'm used to for a cheesesteak. It was solid, but not comparable to the ones I put in my top 20 list. I still need to get to that place in Center City with the upscale (Wagyu) cheesesteaks. Hopefully in the next week or two.
@foodielifemac6 ай бұрын
@@phlmaestro7067 I could taste/ feel the texture a quality steak but I got most of the flavor from the cheese and the bread. It was much better when I added my own salt and pepper. They said they like everything to be customizable and want every little thing requested. Probably would have received a much better rating if it was properly seasoned because unlike your experience, my cheesesteak was very tender. Appreciate you watching and always giving feedback.
