Hello Just wondering are we allowed to fish near south bank or near tower bridge or anywhere in central London

I remember learning to fish on that section as a kid growing up in East Twickenham. That whole section below Richmond bridge on the Twickenham side used to be fishable as the old houses had gardens the river side of Ducks Walk that were mostly overgrown and we’d fish off the old jetty’s. Now that whole sections been built on you can’t access it without a boat. The Section opposite Petersham meadows used to have a jetty going from the bottom of the old Exiles Club garden which has rotted and been taken out now but there was always a depression after a gravel bar which produced big Roach and Perch.

I actually came here only because I dreamt last night that I was communting by a small wooden boat on the Thames every day, and I had eels in my little boat and every day I’d go under the London bridge, which appeared to be an ancient stone bridge. I have never actually seen that bridge and i’m swedish and I know nothing about eels. I just wanted to know if my dream was true. And apparently it was! There are eels in the Thames.
