I don't know if you are a narcissist or crazy, but just take a look at the titles of your videos and do some calculations to see that you are nothing more than a liar. It's either that or we are facing the greatest genius this planet has ever seen. You should be in the Guinness book. 😂😂😂

Bit weird to comment this on multiple videos, don't know what country you're from but there's nothing unprofessional about having a beard. Very odd thing to comment

Who uses an inner monologue when reading? Is that normal? Seems strange to me. I get distracted by all kinds of other things but not that

Solid video. The first two examples are new knowledge for me, helpful, and grateful. That last thought hits hard because that's what I already do: I laser-focus on only the things that feel like they actually matter. Also learning to executive summery what you know is a solid strategy in life. Thank you, Salim!

Let's say I can focus on something for a long period of time, like 4 hours. The issue is is start to feel like I'm falling asleep after a while. How do I stop this? I don't really drink caffeine much, except for soda sometimes, and I sleep about 8-9 hours a night. So, I doubt it is due to poor sleep quality. You may not know an answer to this, but thanks for the video anyway.

Really helpful guide. Watched two videos of you and really love it! However with fiction books where you dont need to study anything but just relax, speed of reading isn't necessary

I remember all these techniques in the book I found from Tony Buzan some 20 odd years ago. Glad to see a living example they work! I struggled with comprehension, reading fast itself was easy. Somehow your brain gets tired quickly because it’s not used to it, but over time it adapts and then the results are marvelous.

Useful tips but I have another problem, most books I read is written in English which is my second language (since I find books written in my first language are low in content quality) while it feels easy with contents like self improvement, marketing or business for me, it feels super hard with contents like data analytics, biology, computer science,..😢 since there's a lot of strange terminology

Salim, I’ve just discovered your channel. I’m in my late 50s, a part time administrator. I’ve always wanted to read faster and make more time for me without feeling guilty about chasing round with household chores etc. I’m going to start with your first video and eventually work through all of them. This is the first - I’m listening, whilst ironing 😆. Thank you for the clear and useful info, without the waffle ❤

I am not a uni student, aim to be a med student one day but just a tenth grader at the moment, trying to manage all my subjects....Reason i clicked on this video is because am studying SST and its SUCH a dry subject that no one is willingly studying it(including me) but i keep trying to gaslight myself into studying it. Rn its summer holidays and i aim to put my max. efforts and go a bit ahead of my teachers as later towards our pre-boards we will get less time. So far from 40mins of focus i improved till 80mins. I seriously want to aim for more than 2hrs of focus(hopefully i do) and thus thank you so much for this video! Its a life-saver!

Hey, i have a question. Why things i learned for hrs and able to remember them the next 2 days but then after 5 days when revisiting the same topics, the topic look like completely new like i never revise it before? And i have 300 pages for physiology to remember, is there a way to complete it fast ? What steps would you do if you were in my position?

Another trick is suppose you read at 250 wpm then For one or two minutes read at 350 wpm with full focus and try your absolute best to comprehend. Then after a minute or two read around 300 wpm. Normally, 300 wpm would feel fast to you and you would probably not have a good comprehension. But now after the trick I told you, 300 wpm will feel comfortable and 250 wpm will feel slow. So you will read 50 wpm more than before without compromising your comprehension!

How does that work for oral exam, because i mainly have oral examinations, so you have to focus on everything, because they ask on everything, maybe you will get lucky and will be examined on the 20% but you never know..
