The first one makes no sense , I’ve just watched this over and over again it shows the first trick from the front and back and it’s just a flat platform there’s no compartment and the curtain after the man turns into the woman it shows there was no one behind the curtain , it is purely magic, was a good theory tho

We have used li9ght and sound for a very long time, the Germans perfected this method, and people that claim that the were abducted say the same methods, and i am not coming on here to claim the government is doing it, but you make your own conclusions. Of light sound and gases.

For me it's not magic if it's filmed with actors pretending to be spectator, it's just a plain old movie.

Surprised that David Blaine hasn’t formulated some kind of trick swallowing a handful of scorpions and then turning around and magically crapping out Africanized honey bees.

The needle and thread trick is just dumb, so he just pre-loads multiple needles in his mouth? Why? How long until some “magician” figures out a way to cram 3 different colored golf balls up their ass and use their specifically trained butt hole muscle to crap out the color ball selected by the audience member

I really don't like the Bluetooth blackboard. There's a far better way of doing it. You have a completely normal blackboard or white board (which can be fully examined). The magician or assistant stands behind the board ready to rotate it, one arm holding each end. They ask the audience member to confirm the word they chose. A second later they rotate the board to show that word, or picture. (A picture is better - you can do all that telepathy sending and receiving). While the magician is standing ready to turn the board, in fact they have clipped fake fingers to one side of the board and can write with that free hand. When they turn the board to show what they have written, they simply inclip the fingers gimmick leaving everything clean. With a whiteboard, there will be no clicking of chalk!! Having props that can be freely examined and finishing clean (i e. without leaving any evidence) is what a magician should always aim for.

David Blaine is definitely bullshit. The moment he bites the glass, you can clearly see a shattered piece fly off, this is going to be the piece he keeps showing. He has some clear tape on his toungue which makes it look like there's a shard. He also has something in his mouth to make the crunchy sound. However he also accidentally broke another shard off which got stuck to him, he took it off, pretended to put it back into his mouth but actually put it into the glass on the table making a nice sound.

Can someone explain me how the hell the 4 coins gimmick + the 2nd cork disappeared from the cylinder cause he obviously spin the cylinder with the wand in the end and there was nothing there ? I even watched him perform this trick in another show with closeup cam-angle + no cut and i can't figure out how he snucked the props inside the cylinder with his left hand and get rid of it after the illusion

Even without the detailed explanation, it is clear that he must be starting with a partially stacked deck, and he must be performing some false shuffles. The various techniques for achieving the false shuffles are documented in full detail in countless treatises of magic. It does take a lot of practice to perform the sleights seamlessly, and to maintain the relaxation, tempo and facial composure in front of a live audience. No one actually believes that this is actual magic, we are interested in seeing the performance and the delivery and the artistry. Somewhat more interesting are the routines where he performs a trick involving large-scale pre-arrangement AFTER several other tricks. In that case, there is likely to be a switch of the deck for the pre-arranged deck. Imagine the misdirection needed to undetectably switch the deck :)

Saying the mask change was clear as day even after you slowed it down and paused it was just untrue. I think you are correct on how the trick was done but all that he messed up stuff you said. Well no he didn't the changes were so fast a regular human eye isn't seeing anything wrong. Only after you go back and pause it would you see the tiniest mistake.

There always risk involved with such tricks, if someone tried this then they would have to be troll, or someone who knew the method and intentionally wanted to mess it up. Secondly, a layman wouldn't normally do this odd thing when asked to sign the card as Markobi rushes them, so they instinctively won't have time to do something sneaky, even if they tried, Markobi is holding the deck and can quickly pull it away from them any time. Which is why, if you watch the FISM performance he pulled the deck away from them and the spectator didn't even get to sign the card properly. I simpler words Markobi isn't going to surrender at any moment, he is in control the entire time.

Minor thing, but you keep saying "7 of diamonds" (24:01) even when he's very clearly using 9 of diamonds in his FISM act, and even go on to say "to the point the 7 of diamonds was also used in the 4th packet reveal [in the Fool Us act]" (24:40). Not a big deal, but apparently enough that I felt the need to write a comment about it.
