Been watching videos for USA light switches on here as well, the USA light switches are so much more simple and easy to replace when broken, and some parts can be seperately replaced in a few minutes when broken. Why would they do a design like this.

Hey mate, can you have too many lights on the one circuit, though? For instance, im getting a house done now in aus, and it's being wired off 2.5mm for the light circuits. Understanding itd be specific to what the draw rates are etc. Cheers mare

Great video, but the continuity between neutral and earth will only work if you don’t have a dedicated earth bar and/or an MEN link. However it’d be safe to assume that if an MEN link existed, then you’d have an RCD protected circuit anyways.

The beeping on my clamp on meter is not working when I'm on continuity mode and have both leads touching. Do you know what could be the problem? I've tried tightening those nuts and pushing the probes all the way in.

Yes I found it was my rented dryer that was the cause rcd to trip so thanks. I saw the my nz rcd looks exactly lime the one you used in your video.
