Just a point, instead of drilling out the ends you should drill somewhere in the middle and use your router to the end marks. Leaves a much cleaner finish.

Hi I just watched you video about changing a Wired Alarm PIR. Wanted to understand if I can do this without needing to reset the control box as I'm not sure how to do this. Regards Dave Porter london

Hey mate, your videos are shit hot. I’m a sparky but been away from the trade for a number of years so I really appreciate what you’re doing. Any chance you might do a home EV charging point vid one day? Cheers Craig

Does the conduit box need ventilation?
@sparkydave2 жыл бұрын
Sometimes yes - and definitely something to consider - can be dependent on the location of install. I should have elaborated on this a bit better as I am based in an area that it is unlikely to reach above 30 degrees ambient in the middle of Summer - mounting drivers in larger conduit boxes here is common (generally for IP reasons though) - I understand this may not apply to a portion of the audience watching in warmer climates. I have decided to split this video in half and re-upload the second part when the full length strip (on order) arrives to make the installation video I had intended, and this will include a more appropriate conduit box/ventilation explanation! Respect for the question bro, Kudos to you 👊
