Hot take: the Molten Crater theme fits Dino Mines *way* better than the Greatest Hits version. Whenever I play Dino Mines in Reignited, I mute the music and look up Molten Crater instead. Switch out all the others, but you’ll have to pry that one from my cold, dead hands.

I never knew about these additional music tracks, honestly they feel way out of place to me given that I grew up with the original version.

I played the game as a kid (PAL version) roughly around release (like it must have been 2001) and I can confirm/deny the following: - evening lake and sunrise spring had the same music - boss fight actually had it's own theme but not the same as played in this video - haunted tomb actually had it's own theme and not the same as cloud spires - the speedways actually had their own tracks too - every other example always had the first track played for both worlds as shown in this video

the version i grew up with is pretty much the 1.0 version except they replaced the sorceress theme with spike's theme, and i didnt mind that at all since its the best trach in the game by far and more fitting for a "final" battle

All I know about the Gulp’s Overlook riff is that the Spyro Soundfont calls it the “Manhattan Chase”

The version of the game I usedto have followed all the 1.0 soundtracks apart from 1 and that's the sorceress' battle music was the same as Spike's Arena... Which suited the fight really well

Also the loading screen for the special mission in time crisis 1

Power Rangers Ninja Storm had this melody as well, can't really miss it. I remember this song thanks to Spyro 2 so it's crazy how much media pretty much used this track.
