Unfortunately, you didn't tell us how healthy avocado seeds are. Many people just throw them away, which is a shame.❤

I have a pomegranate tree. I learned how to extract the seeds very easily. I juice some of them and freeze in small containers so I have Juice when my pomegranates have all been picked. I eat a small bowl of the seeds before bedtime.

nice talk but not everybody tolerate legums!
@Healthytarian2 ай бұрын
Thank you, Cindy. With regards to tolerating legumes, all *healthy* human bodies can digest legumes. The problem is that most people today do not have healthy bodies. Their intestinal tract has been damaged by numerous toxins that they consume in their foods and drinks, by pharmaceutical drugs - especially antibiotics, by alcohol and other drugs, and the list goes on. Also, most people's intestines are full of harmful bacteria instead of healthy and helpful bacteria, which help us digest beans and legumes. The way to turn all this around is by changing one's diet and lifestyle habits. It is important not to mistake that just becuase someone's body is reacting to legumes, the solution is not to avoid legumes but to fix and heal one's body.

Whenever you are soaking a grain or a legume, it is always essential to change the water that the grain was soaked in and fill with fresh water for cooking. Please review where I show and share this in the video.

Is adzuki bean same as kidney bean and what are the differences?
@Healthytarian4 ай бұрын
No, Adzuki beans are not the same as kidney beans. They are a completely different variety or type of bean. The differences are many, just like between any other varieties, ranging from color, shape, size, cooking time, and flavor. Nutritionally, most beans have a very similar nutrient profile.

I have a question that feels very on top here about protein, the idea that we need lets say 50grams of protein a day is surely predicated on a certain about of activity. Does that mean if you do very intense physical work or persue something like bodybuilding this number needs to be higher for recovery and muscle development? or is that increase protein needed for recovery still going to lead to the same problems regardless of if your body needs it or not. Basically what im asking is if you use the protein is it still contributing to these problems?
@Healthytarian4 ай бұрын
If too much protein is being consumed it is still too much protein to the body. Protein is not used like calories, where it is "burned" or used with more physical activity. Protein from food, also, must be processed FIRST before it is used. This is a large part of where the health risks come from. Protein is used along with other nutrients, as your body needs it and how it deems it most appropriate. And loading up on protein is not a wise thing to do, as it is not stored like "calories" or "energy" in the body. Extra protein, like any other extra nutrient will eventually be converted into fat as well, if one is eating too many calories of any kind for their needs. For more information about this topic, please refer to the following resources about protein and muscle building or physical activity where I explain how to balance this in a healthy manner: 1. www.evolvingwellness.com/post/how-much-protein-is-needed-for-different-activity-levels-on-a-plant-based-diet 2. www.evolvingwellness.com/post/is-a-plant-based-diet-good-for-athletes-and-bodybuilders 3. www.healthytarian.com/post/protein-in-plant-foods

@@Healthytarian this is very interesting and I appreciate the response. I've been eating between 150-180 grams of protein for 8-9 years at this point and going the gym alot. There's this insane idea in the gym community that no matter how big you get it doesn't matter as long as it's muscle 😂 over the last few years I've started to see just how radical it is. I have decided to dial my meat consumption down radically as of late but I did want to ask where wholegrain breads and whole grain pastas stand in regards to healthy eating. I've found sources of bread with only 4 ingredients and pasta with just wheat and I wondered if this refinement of grain is still unhealthy even though it has the same fibre content as unground wheat
@Healthytarian4 ай бұрын
@@lulusehnihpi8901 You are very welcome. Things such as whole breads with minimal ingredients and pure whole grain pastas are a controversial topic themselves due to everybody's dietary preferences and strong ideas these days. For some people, they are a wholesome and healthy part of their diet, while others shun all processed grains as part of whole food, plant-based eating or many other diets. It all depends on the person's nutritional and health understanding and their personal health priorities and dietary preferences. In such cases, it is best to pay attention to your body and how it responds when you eat these items, as well as examine the overall quality of your diet. If someone is basing their diet on such items, that is not a good idea. But if such items are part of a whole food, plant-based diet that is high in fruits and vegetables and beans/legumes, they may be a suitable addition.

@Healthytarian4 ай бұрын
No, it is not Michelle. Juices and smoothies are two completely different end products. To make a juice, you would use a juicer. To make a smoothie, you would use a blender.
