Most noobs do is they work so hard early to buy bond and become poor again. Bond is somthing you can buy when you at least start making 3 to 4 mill gp per hour

just start maging/ ranging kril. can easily get 30+ kills per trip even with a bofa

I'm working on becoming an essence runner to fund my progression. When I kill things like dragons, farm herbs or fish I tend to use those to level up my skills instead of selling them.

Imo that's the problem with osrs nowadays. It's all about being "efficient" and leveling up as fast as possible or you are doing it "wrong". Most of us agree, our best memories on this game was being a noob and being inefficient. Just play how you want and enjoy the journey.,

I think one of the best things OSRS does for its players is have every skill be accessible, while also creating content for those that want to go further and get rewarded for it. This also allows people to never feel like OSRS is a chore or a massive hurdle to play. If you want to progress fishing for example, you can afk fish, where you only have to click roughly every 5 minutes or so, and maybe drop or bank some fish. Then you have Tempoross, a fishing boss that has mechanics, and you actually have to learn how to do it efficiently in order to get more rewards/xp. Then you have tick manipulated swordfishing, which is the fastest xp, but takes a lot of practice to get down consistently, and is very click intensive. Also if you just want to make money, there are also ways to trains skills that do that as well. Essentially if you want to do something in the game, there usually is always a method that you can take that suits your preferences/mood for the day. If you want to max, you can do it all through afk activities, even when it comes to slayer, you can purposefully block and cancel task that are too involved, and only choose ones that require basic prayers and eating. You choose your difficulty, you choose your fun, and it all progresses your account. Compared to other MMORPGs where the game basically forces you to do x dungeon to get to y dungeon to get to z raid to then get gear requirements for the final raid. If you wanted to do a raid in OSRS, you can go grind out gear drops and try be the best equipped, and you'll be rewarded, but you can also just grind gold afk and then buy gear and do lower invocations in Tombs of Amascut. The game is its own sandbox, and the more minigames/bosses/raids/content they add, the more ways you'll be able to play in that sandbox, without nullifying what came before or after it.

The best way through the mid game in my opinion is to just forget making money all-together. It'll come naturally with your current progression. As you complete quests, tasks, achievements and level your skills, you should be accumulating a steady wealth while also enabling yourself to keep the gear upgrades attainable. Once you hit "the wall", I like to call it, when attaining new gear upgrades and levels become tediously difficult and expensive, and most of the content is locked behind things you haven't attained, that's when it's time to start building your "passive" income. Here's what necessary to break through this wall. A decent farming routine Kingdom of misc Fossil island and birdhouses unlocked Achievements diaries at least all medium completion (for zeke battlestaff especially). Slayer progressed at least level 65 & unlock "bigger and badder" ASAP. It's a n inevitable ROI for when the RNG gods decide to bless your loot table with an item valued over 50M. Play smarter, not harder. Why spend 300+ hours farming dragons when you could "potentially" only need to spend 3 hours killing the right monster? Slayer makes you money. It might not be immediately obvious, but it can PAY OUT. Utilise passive income to support Slayer Use Slayer to raise combat skills for late game & roll your luck on huge rewards. Rinse & repeat. I barely even play runecape. Maybe 1 or 2 hours a day on my mobile. I do a Slayer task, a farming run, birdhouses and dailies. Then log out. Passively on a weekly basis I earn at least over 2 mill. That's not including the money I make when I decide to grind Slayer. (Yesterday I dropped a draconic vissage) Over time, with these gameplay habits embedded, your account will begin to grow exponentially and then become self sustaining.

1000% agree on the Kalphite Queen spot. It was in the old days of OSRS philosophy of "BIG BOSS SO HIT STRONG AND ALL THE FUCKING TIME". The loot is pretty mid, you would only ever do it for the Hard/Elite Desert diaries, and what do you get from those diaries? A shortcut so you get to kill it slightly faster. It's a fucking joke.

Lol, I hate runelite, never used it and the thought of using it makes my skin crawl, I crave the nostalgia and runelite would steal that from me!

Mid game money farm and YOU'RE max combat... goof 🤪 🤪 🤪

You don't even need all 3 combat styles for Barrows, especially with any powered staff. Just have the trident, whatever melee gear you want, and I usually opt to have a non-negative magic attack modifier but it's not terribly important due to most brothers having nonexistent magic defense. Swap to melee for Ahrim (mage). Karil has non-zero magic defense due to the fact that the brothers use the gear they drop, but as long as your modifier isn't negative you'll be fine. I kill Karil with melee most of the time though since my melee stats are pretty high, you can really just use whichever style is a higher level for you. I start with Dharok because he's the main brother you need to pray against. Karil and Ahrim are next on the priority for prayer usage, the other brothers you can tank with decent melee gear. I typically don't bring more than one prayer potion because I only use it if the brother guarding the chest is one of the 3 that requires prayer. Otherwise I just start with the 3 priority brothers and let my prayer drain. Alternatively, if you have Medium combat achievement diary, you can bring Ghommal's Hilt 2 and you won't have your prayer drained in the Barrows. Really helps to have the Morytania Hard diary if you don't have the magic level to put Barrows teleport in your POH, and for the doubled rune drops that will infinitely sustain your trident. You'll easily get enough leftover gold for the fire runes too.

dragon crossbow is a noob money sink. its 18,000 more expensive than rune crossbow for +4 range accuracy. Yet you said its worth it because its 1,800 less expensive than armadyl and has only 6 less range accuracy. your video should have highlighted the real underrated weapon - the rune crossbow. Virtually same stats as dragon crossbow and a whopping 1.8mil cheaper at like 9k gp lmao

Not recommended. The game in and of itself is not immersive or particularly fun and offers very little excitement, the most common highlight for an individual playing the game is literally to not be attentive to the action their trying to do. The company that runs the game has a long history of bad decision making that has had a detrimental effect on the game or player base and continues to be so. I could go on and on, but I do want to end with this: I've invested a lot of time into this game and I warn you, this game has a bitter end, cause the day you genuinely quit and look back at the hours spent playing this game and what you've gotten from it, I can not genuinely with care for anybody say this game is worth it.

I’m a fairly new player, you mention that these methods aren’t to pricey, but how do you ( for example ) GET all the meat into your bank? For making bows how do you EMPTY your inventory once making the bows? In my eyes it looks like you would spend more time running to the bank for everything.
