insane i would never make a iron man, ive seen some friends in game who get like 2200= total and get bored because maxing out the last lvls is hard, because it becomes 700k to 1.1mil exp per level. So they make a iron man and usually those end up around 1700-2k total levels. ME personally i couldn't do it requires way to much energy and time.

The only way to accomplish this is to put more real life hours than your irl job. most adults do not have 40 hours plus a week for a video game. but thats what it takes if you want max gear or levels in this game. and years of 40 hour weeks grinding to get that. also the drop tables are insane rare. so the only way to get to the top of this game is to devote years and thousands upon thousands of hours. its kind of absurd when you think about it. Im working on 2000 total and have over 1500 hours and not even half way in xp to all 99s

maxing is not even a thought or goal for me on my ironman, I just love going through the content I would never touch on my main. Its very satisfying to look at my gear tab, every item has a story/grind behind it

All the things you brought up are what make ironman fun for me. Like, what even is the point of doing ToB if you could just buy all the items instead? Ironman forces you to learn the game on a much deeper level and there are not that many drystreak grinds that are really demoralizing. I think the only one that is really bad is the dragon warhammer because defence reduction is so important for your lategame progress. Apart from that there's no overly brutal grinds until you get to the very endgame.

I will admit i personally dont play a normal account because i know myself i will just buy gold and basically it becomes a pay 2 win and i dont have fun, i started an ironman and honestly its been 3 months and im hooked because its just so fun and rewarding, i cant rwt gold and im forced to play the game properly, however everyone is different but thats just me, i cant play osrs unless it ironman.

One reason, and the only reason you shouldn't play as a ironman. You don't need a stupid title to play or have fun in a game. You can have a normal account and play as a ironman if you wish. The only reason people play ironman is for the title. Look at me, look at me!

There is some truth to that. I actually have a bronzeman account, but it doesn't give the same sense of achievement, since you know it's "unofficial" and you can just turn it off at any time. I guess permanent ironman is the way to go for that feeling.

The number 1 reason is the only reason why I converted my Ironman to a main. I already do most content solo, wintertotd, tempoross and bosses. But spending my time gathering supplies when I could be doing the content I want to do is so stupid.

As someone who PVPs on iron, your first point is kinda wrong. It used to be pretty bad before lootkeys, but with loot keys enabled (on your iron) you still get the keys you just can't claim them. Once you've got some loot keys from pking, you can kill your iron on a main and get all the lootk keys and cash them in.

But... why wouldn't you just PvP on the main - the potential of losing gear that's much harder to make on the ironman doesn't seem worth it to me.

iron man and group iron man should have came out in 2013 when all my friends played and there was a massive hype. also the other problem is that early game iron man is fun but middle and end, the grind is just too much for a grown up with a job.

Grind for supplies is what gets my juices flowing.. I looove the satisfaction of stockpiling steelbars to then turn them to delicious cannonballs. Love picking up that diamon on the slayertask, gonna make 12 fine ass bolts. Ironman vs regular cant really be compared in my opinion. I have a 2040 total iron and a 1800 regular.. iron just tickles me different, although dry-streaks arent fun. I think for stuff like bloodshard, DWH, zenyte shards there should be a mechanic like vorkath with a guaranteed drop at the droprate.. It ofcause makes a problem with drop trades, I suppose... but is it really?.. I just hate feeling I compete with bots when I myself am a university student pulling brainless hours for a red hammer - Great vid tho

I’m not a fan of this video. Before the G.E you had to work for your items. Trying to find someone to trade a BCP with back in the day would be impossible. Don’t doubt people to make an Ironman account. People get spooned more on an iron than a regular account

Most ironman players have played before as a non-ironman. I think the reason why ironman players played iron man because it's more fulfilling than the normal mode. Like we played usually 2 accounts at one time Like those reasons listed above, to us, yeah it's still a valid reason but I still like playing ironman :P

Don't find most of the things in this video are actually at all accurate - 99% of these things are removed if you have a main with some gp, you can still raid with randoms and get purps you just need to have the cash somewhere to pay out. And the whole going to get your own supplies is the whole thing of high end ironmen in my opinion its way better to step aside do some supplies vs a main that goes to kill the same boss over and over just to buy better gear to beat that boss quicker?

There is tons of pvp / soul wars / castle wars / LMS / wildy bosses you'll see pkers As an ironman you learn everything about the game because you actually have to find things out, you can also group up with people I did 6 raids just yesterday and I still care about what others get. DISLIKE IRONMAN 4 LIFE

Yes supply gathering is by far the worst part. Thousands of herb runs just to reach a level for brews and overload+ at chambers

thats the reason why i always level a few levels on my iron and then quit, because i think to myself "do i want to "waste" thousands of hours of my life redoing grinds i did on my main" and always come to the conclusion to not do it, and i feel like in like 10 years, time the decision will have been worth it when looking back to my twenties

I've got 24k shamans no dwh and I got almost a thousand total raids KC and don't rly feel like I've missed it. Usually someone in my team got a dwh so it's fine. And u go thru drystreaks on a main too. But when u finally get that collection log. Most likely u just sell it for chump change depending on the item ofc and then complain about being dry anyway even if ur a main

Let me know when you acquire the 3 trillion GP it takes for fully maxed gear on a main… I used to think the same way with my 1600 IM; truth is IM sucks a lot of fun out of the game, limits your options. Forces you to do some BS every time you log in or many times you end up doing BS the whole login… You end up “skipping content” in both IM/main, main is more by choice-IM you’re not ever experiencing true endgame unless you’re sweating 20 hrs a day

Grind for supplies? You really haven't played an iron 🤣 so the same herb runs u do as a main for profit, you do on the main.... Most pvm you do nets you all the supplies you need. and also .. one herb run. Gets you enough restores to last you up to a week or maybe even 2 depending on ur game style. U gotta get fishing up eventually anyway. So u gonna fish fish one way or the other and unless some whlle doing wines. But ye don't make a video about positives as an iron cuz you really give pretty bad and untrue statements/opinions
