EXTRA hidden screw for Glove box removal + cut away one Glove box door guide. Hi, fitted this Radio on a face lifted 2014 Polo, Extra Screw had to be removed to get Glove out & had to pull up/unclip plastic trim on the door edge & then the trim to the left directly below the glove box to access this last screw. ALSO, the cable wiring in my car was alot shorter for pulling across, once pulled across, I still needed to cut away the right hand guide for the Glove box door because you could feel it rubbing against the wires as the glove box door opened & closed. ( p.s. I needed to pull back the tape around the car's wiring loom to get it to stretch across, use your fingers or a scissors to loosen, not Stanley Knife, I accidentally cut a small cable which i had to re-join again)

I got same issue but also can’t see the screen when clicking original menu /idrive. Did you have this issue ?

@ I uninstalled the screen and re installed it. The sound issue was because some cables weren’t properly connected to I had to push them in to make sure the connection is 100%. And I also notice my screen going black at times, so I just hard press the menu button for a few seconds until it comes back

The Android unit gets a signal from the cars iDrive. Automaticaly switches it. Hence you use the lead from the box for camera power instaed of the reversing light.

The android box will not work without an iDrive. Once you have the box installed change the setting on tbe Android unit to aftermarket camera. Put the car in reverse and see if the screen switches over.

Hi Joshua, I can confirm that the Audio works perfectly with this kit! Why would we ever sell a kit and make an entire video on it if the audio didn’t work? Ask yourself that question 🙌
