Alexandros Avranas is scandalously ignorant about resignation syndrome. Had he taken the time to read up on the subject, consider the latest research, and review the journalistic revelations about resignation syndrome that have emerged in recent years, his film would have been impossible to make. What he claims is simply not true-there is clear evidence that the condition can be simulated, and in Sweden, there are several cases of former apathetic refugee children who have testified that they were forced by their parents to fake illness. These are horrifying stories of child abuse: children were forced to stay indoors, starved, and punished when they ate food. In the worst cases, they were kept in isolation from their surroundings for years. What Alexandros Avranas is doing now is protecting those who have abused their children.

In the 1960s and 1970s, the United States promoted coups throughout Latin America. Democratically elected governments that did not submit to the interests of the United States were overthrown. In their place, the United States established bloodthirsty military dictatorships that killed, tortured, and disappeared the bodies of patriots who did not accept the coups. Here in Latin America, the September 11th that we remember was in 1973. US pilots flying Chilean fighter jets attacked the La Moneda Palace, assassinating the elected president Salvador Allende. Here in my country, Brazil, the United States controls the mainstream media and the military and carries out coups whenever it wants, according to its interests. In 2016, it carried out another coup to continue with the privatizations and the handover of large Brazilian companies. The president at the time was Dilma Roussef, who was against privatizations. They overthrew her and put a lackey in her place.

Picnic at Hanging Rock 1975 was his most influencial film a period film that remains a mystery to this day, camera operator, John Seale, Photography , Russel Boyd , screen play Cliff Green also Ian Jamieson and Mark Egerton who worked with Peter Weir on the film they contributed immensely, Finally Martin Sharp who was an artist at the time who gave the film this otherworldly feel and requested Karen Robson for the role of Irma.

Peter's film, The Last Wave, was the first movie to ignite my curiosity about a director, not just the actors, decades ago in California. Anyone who has seen all his films knows what an evocative and diverse treasure that collection is ... what a treasure his talent is.
