The Fisher F22 Metal Detector is a versatile, high-performance tool for treasure hunters, designed to excel in various environmental conditions, including inclement weather and challenging terrains. Proudly crafted in the USA, the F22 operates at a frequency of 7.69 kHz, making it highly effective for detecting a broad spectrum of targets. Equipped with a 9" concentric elliptical waterproof coil, it delivers superior depth and sensitivity, ensuring that you can locate hidden treasures with precision.
Built with a weatherproof design, the F22 is perfect for outdoor adventures, with an IP54 rating that provides protection against dust and light rain. Its advanced target identification system features both visual and numeric IDs, enabling users to distinguish between different types of metals quickly. The large LCD screen displays a numeric target-ID (ranging from 1-99) and a 9-segment visual target-ID, offering a clear and intuitive reading of potential finds. The Fe-Tone® adjustable iron audio allows users to set the volume for iron targets, while the iron identifier icon helps identify iron objects easily.
With four preset operating modes-Jewelry, Coin, Artifact, and Custom-the F22 caters to different detection needs, enhancing accuracy and efficiency in various detecting scenarios. The pinpoint feature, along with adjustable sensitivity and volume settings, ensures precise target location and optimal performance based on ground conditions. The F22 also incorporates non-volatile memory, retaining your customized settings even after powering off.

I had this coil for my Fisher F-70. I really enjoyed it. It works well for coins on edge. F-22 is a fun start up and go detector.

I used a Fisher F2 before I got my Etrac. I found a 1921 P key date Walking Liberty half dollar and a gold ring with that little Fisher unit. Lots of other silver coins and early nickels too.

Sweet man!! A Fisher!! 👍🏻 I have a Gold Bug Pro as well as an F19... amazing little units... I like the smaller coils for the Fishers.. I run the NEL Snake coil on both machines.. The separation sensitivity and depth on small targets ( jewelry.. trinkets and shit) is absolutely insane!! I beleve it will work on the F22.. I know you don't like Tot lots to much.. but with the snake coil and my Fisher's.. no tot lot is safe..😁

Ya i'm sure that coil is a great on picking out targets in close proximity..Tot lots are for kids haha...I know you can get lucky some times and get silver or gold jewelry in them and i have...But i get more satifaction in finding a 10 inch deep silver coin and those are more likely to be out in the grass...

I kinda want a fisher cz21 but it's $2000 and I'm not paying that for an older machine, it's supposed to be one of the best salt water machines though, I don't search salt water though, I just think it looks like a neat analog machaine

Fisher F22 was my beginning detector back in 2018. It was a great little machine to learn metal detecting on in parks, playgrounds, and around ball fields. It'll consistently find stuff at 3-4 inches and is so good at discerning clad that it got to the point where that was all I was digging. This machine is not for finding deeper, older stuff in any way. It won't do it. The trick with this machine, if you want to find jewelry, is to dig the non-clad numbers. I just don't think I could recommend this machine at it's price point nowadays, given the newer entry-level stuff that both Nokta and Minelab have come out with over the past 4 or so years.

I took it out on it's first hunt today...I started off in jewelry mode because it seemed to be the most responsive mode..I was getting very discouraged for the first 35 minutes.....Then i switched to the much quieter and stable coins mode and things changed quickly...Started getting deeper coins and even got a good relic at 10 inches deep..I got it all on video so that one will be coming soon...I don't think the machine will be hitting silver dimes at 12 inches but it did decent today in the coins mode..

@@WeirdGuyInPark Nice! Definitely a great machine to learn on. I can't ever remember pulling anything much more than 5 inches with it, but then again, that's probably more about where I was hunting and what I was looking for.

I liked to use the 0 tone setting on all the non ferrous sections and the iron grunt for the iron section made it relatively easy to size discriminate as well as watching the vdi has a certain sound for shallow to medium depth coin sized targets
