I'm with you on the gardening. I even completed the Master Gardener program in my state! lol. I mostly did it to learn more about houseplants (which were not really part of the course honestly) and have since done some more stuff with my small home plot. I prefer some perennial flowers because they require very little tending (except when they're new or need to be divided). Our vegetable growing is very small and we try only a few at a time. First year was beans and broccoli, last year was just peppers. This year was 4 varieties of peppers and brussel sprouts. Next year will be probably be peppers and beans and maybe one of the brassicas (but cut down on peppers because I was over zealous and planted like 20 pepper plants... lol). My husband is a little picky with veggies and so we don't eat a lot regularly which also makes growing more difficult because eating like 2 of something a year is not enough to grow an entire plant, imo.

Please take care, just recently watched a worrying documentary about how very toxic, and in many cases carcinogenic, most scented candles are. Would never burn them again in our home. Particularly hazardous to health of pets and young children apparently
