Im really not one of those who comments on these types of videos, but you really are the best. I have been searching for good content in the ASMR genre since 2014, but you are the only creator who consistently create what I consider quality content. Whether you post regularly or not, we love your content. Please don't stop creating, but take what ever time you need. I'd love to see more, but if not I will continue to watch your older videos. All the best to you and your family!

Oh y e s, the ASMR community has just expanded soooo much. To the point where I actively have to seek out smaller channels if I still want that genuine , somewhat lofi vibe. You're amazing for being able to handle all that stress and still taking the time out to update us. I know I would've cracked at point or another, heh. Wish you and your family the best 💛

So happy you’re back. As a mom of two under two, both in daycare, I appreciate hearing another mom being honest about how hard it can be. I’m so sorry you’re dealing with all of this, but I also appreciate knowing I’m not alone in my stresses. Thank you, mama!

OMG!!! I'm so happy to see a new video from you!! You have such a gift for making people feel calm. Your warmth and empathy come through in every one of your videos, no matter what the video is about. I'm so grateful for you and your videos. Please don't hesitate to come vent to us when you need to. It's the least we can do in return for everything you've done for us.

You are my favorite ASMR channel ever. Doesn’t matter how long you could ever go away!! I love having your content new and old to watch. You have such a comforting, supportive, and nurturing feeling that transfers in your videos. Even though ASMR has changed over the internet, there will always be a space for you and your content that no one can come close to!! Your spirit 💕 sorry to hear about your son, glad you all figured out what was going on. Don’t ever feel guilty. You are human and go through things and upload at your own pace, we will always be here 🫶

These last few years have been insanely hard for everyone, so take all the time you need before coming back! I do wanna say this though… Some of your videos talking about therapy really made a huge impact on me. They were part of the reasons why I decided to enroll in a masters program for MFT work. Just wanted to say thank you for your content ❤️

As a mom of a five year old, I so appreciate the sharing because it does feel so isolating when they are having a hard time! The sharing I really appreciate because the majority of the “content” out there is all curated and perfect but it makes you feel very alone if you don’t see all sides of what it really means to be a mom. I am so glad your son was able to get some answers, a mother’s intuition is worth so much. Life is such a ride at times and I send you good vibes to your family!

I am so glad that you felt comfortable enough to share all of this with us! I can empathize as I have two young children, one of which had a lot of medical issues over a couple year period similar to your child’s, as well as a major emergency situation (everyone is now fine after tonsils and adenoids removed as well as tubes and the wonderful doctors and nurses at the children’s hospital near us). Please know that we are rooting for you and we so appreciate you and the fact that you are a real person (not a curated/commercialized ASMRtist-this is why I personally love your videos so much). I hope your son (and you/family) continue to come out of this time and find your way to feeling “back” to where your life feels a bit normal again. I totally get it and am sending big mamma hugs to you! Thanks for the update :-)

This was comforting, like catching up with an old friend :) I respect& appreciate your transparency sharing your story My 7 yr old has had his fair share of severe illnesses, but never in such succession. I know the feeling of just doing your best, and *barely hanging on* until they’re feeling well again. But to have such back-to-back illness with little time to recoup, I can only imagine the overwhelming toll it took on you& your family 🤍 Any content you make is always warmly received and appreciated. But please never feel pressure or like you’re letting us down! I’ll happily watch your old videos in the meantime x

Omg Ashley, I can’t even imagine how overwhelming, stressful, and emotional this has all been for your entire family. I am so so sorry what your son had to go through but I am so happy there is finally a light at the end of the tunnel. When it rains it pours! (Moving, husbands job, etc.) ugh I can’t imagine. It’s so cliche but everything happens for a reason- there is so much positive coming ahead for you guys.. ❤️ thank you for opening up and sharing this all with us- we love you! I never clicked on a video so fast, I was so happy to see you back, of course it didn’t make me happy to know you’ve been going through so much but I am sending your family love and prayers. I am so grateful you are back! I also have a son that age, we have no help, and I can so relate to what you are going through. I really have no one to talk to about it, and hearing your genuine, nurturing, caring voice talk about your own struggles is so validating to me personally. I love your channel! Your spirit comes through so authentically, and in a way I feel like as moms we truly need this because the supportive community women once had just kinda doesn’t exist anymore. So thank you for what you contribute. I hope that things become less stressful in the health and finance departments soon. Congratulations on the success of your practice!

Ashley, it’s so good to hear from you. I’m so sorry for the stressful year. Your son’s situation really resonated with me, because I was the exact same as a kid. I also got my adenoids removed around his age and if it’s any relief, things got so much better for me. Not only did I get sick *much* less but also I grew taller and was more energetic etc. I’m in my mid 30s now and my parents still talk about how tough that time period was for them where I was constantly sick (and kept crying cause my ear was hurting lol). Please know that I’m thinking of you and your family and wish you guys all the best ❤ Take care and thank you for this update.

My goodness it’s so hard!! I became a mum almost a decade ago and have 3 kids and for years I couldn’t work as someone was always sick and couldn’t be in child care. It gets a lot easier when they start school as they are at an age where they don’t catch as many things. I’m finally working part-time again and feeling more balanced. You’re in the most intense parenting stage, hang in there! 💛

I was like your little guy. I was very very sickly throughout my childhood up until fifth grade. I had severe strep throat, ear infections where my ear drums would burst and bleed and many other illnesses. I was known to be sickly by all who knew me. In fifth grade I had my tonsils and adenoids removed. My life changed permanently. No more ear and throat issues. What a miracle it was. My third son almost died because of an overly casual doctor who would not take my mamma concern more seriously. He ended up at 3 weeks needing emergency surgery and all issues were gone - except for the residue trauma that I was left to deal with. Shame on your doctors who didn’t take a closer look. But what a miracle you were blessed with the right surgeon. You are an amazing mom and very grounded. Do not let pressure about asmr have any power. You have been blessed thru the challenges. Prayers to you and your family.

Your video didn’t show up in my feed, but I was wondering where you’d been a few days ago, so I searched and found you had just posted. Friend! (Hope that’s okay to call you. :)) You have spoken so much help and wisdom to me even in sharing your recent heartaches. Our two children were SO.SICK. the entire winter/spring. It was exhausting. My job shifted big time when the business was sold to a new owner, my husband and I both kept catching sicknesses from them (which was very odd for us!), and it was just such a draining time. I didn’t realize this was happening all over the country! No one ever shared with us about the problems with viruses due to the quarantine, etc. Makes so much sense! Anyway… we have an ENT appointment in a couple of weeks that we’ve been waiting months for. I might literally climb across the desk if they don’t agree to take my daughters tonsils. Lol. Thank you for sharing with us! Thank you for being honest about your (and my!) experiences with the asmr community. Praying and hoping with you for quick resolution to your husband’s job hunt!

I’m so glad you’re welI, Ashley! I’ve been thinking about you occasionally, and just assumed Covid was involved. It’s good to hear your son’s surgery went well! As you were talking about it, I guessed it was adenoids; a friend’s daughter went through a lot of testing, and hospitalizations before they discovered the issue. Also, my condolences about your kitty. 💔😞😢 I had to say goodbye to my kitty girl back in April, but sometimes it feels like it was just last week. I miss her so much, but am glad she knew I loved and appreciated her. 🐾🐈‍⬛💜 Another friend of mine’s husband was laid off too. You’ve truly experienced so many life events! You sound like you’re healing, and I hope you have your own therapist you can talk to. 😊❤ Bless you for helping the kittens! I’m volunteering at a rescue and it’s therapeutic for me, and also helping the cats be socialized so they are more likely to be adopted. I agree that a lot of the ASMR community has gotten too commercialized and sexualized--which is totally not what ASMR is. 🙄 There are only a handful of channels I like anymore. At first, I was kind of excited that you’d have another story about an eccentric neighbor 🙃, but that’s ok. You don’t need more drama; that story was truly interesting 🍿🍿🍿! I hope things calm down, and the worst is behind you and your family. 💜

Hey GB! I listened to this when you first posted but didn't get to comment till now. I felt this community was important to you so when you went away I knew it had to be something serious. Not knowing was a stresser but I'm glad everything worked out for your son. Don't blame you at all for taking a break. I agree with you about the over sexualization of ASMR these days which is why it's so good to have you back. Your videos are very wholesome and it's good to have creators like you that produce that kind of content. I've been a long time fan. Can't wait to see your keyboard again soon! The one with the orange spacebar. Some of my personal favorites of yours is the Covid grocery store, the pharmacy and, one of your last vids about calling for classes. Anyways, so glad you're alive and all is well. Can't wait to see what you do next!

Children and their illnesses are all consuming for the caretakers 😢 my son is also 4 and he just got over a nasty bout of strep throat that was going around school. I’m so happy that your son received the help he needed thanks to your advocacy. ❤❤ welcome back!

I am so happy to hear from you, but so sad to hear of the difficulties you've faced. As a mother of 4, I totally understand the worry and stress involved in fighting to have your mothers instincts heard and taken seriously. There is nothing worse than seeing your child sick and feeling unable to help them. The house move and your husband being laid off must have felt so overwhelming too. Never apologise for being yourself or sharing your emotions. The people here in your corner genuinely care about you and want to share the good times and the bad. I too have had a terrible year of ill health, operations and sadness and I feel like there is so much pressure to stay positive and never complain. Positivity is only healthy if its genuine, if its forced it just produces guilt and feelings of inadequacy. Its okay not to be okay all the time! Sending so much love. ❤

It's so nice to see you. I am so sorry to hear that you have had such a difficult year. I have been here since the beginning and I think you are so special. I pray your son's surgery is a game changer for his health and that your husband find a job quickly. I hope you know that this is a reciprocal friendship. You comfort us but we can also comfort you. I personally want to offer you a little of what you have offered me. It's wonderful to see you and I hope this next season of your life is everything you deserve - which is the very best. ❤❤❤❤🩷

Sorry to hear you've had such a hard time. I hope.the surgery is the start of better times to come. My daughter had undiagnosed strep A last year and was continuously sick with various things for months as a result. It almost broke me too x

I was so excited when I saw your notification! Awesome back! I'm so sorry for everything you guys have been through. My four year old has also been very sick the past year so I understand the stress. Praying he gets better since the surgery and your stress reduces.

I'm so excited to see that you're back! I'm so sorry you've been through so much though, it is hard to have a sick little one! I'll be praying he heals up well and that your husband finds another job very soon. What a blessing that you have your practice though and that it is thriving! I agree with what you said about asmr not being the same anymore. I wouldn't know how to drscribe it but many of the channels don't fulfill what I am seeking. I like a much simpler video with some imperfections, I feel it is more relatible for me. I have been dabbling in creating some content for mostly my own enjoyment, helps me relax to make things and I make content I personally enjoy without all the bells and whistles. I'm really looking forward to more videos from you when you're able to make some!

I figured life and a small child was taking up your time, plus I remembered you said you were going back to work full time. I'm so glad you're back! Take a break whenever, you have plenty of content to keep us busy. Being a parent is hard, I'm glad you listened to your instinct. A similar thing happened with my coworker's daughter, she was so sick all the time and her speech was garbled. At 3 years old their pediatrician told them she was going to grow up deaf due to the way she wasn't developing speech-wise. I told him they should go to EMT and get her ears checked, because she was talking and putting together sentences, its just that her pronunciation wasn't understandable. Turns out she had a similar situation as your son! She got the ear-tube surgery and the change was amazing! She wasn't sick anymore and her speech (as well as her hearing) was 100%. They couldn't believe the pediatrician never recommended it prior.
