Hi :) Thank you so much. This helps a lot. I knew, that oil and water are not really mixing....but this is mind blowing. I really thought / believe, that it´s enough to shake the bottle very well. Now I know, why my scalp was itching so often. I was thinking, that it was the wrong oil or so or my dreads are to new for my scalp. I don´t need much oil, I have an oily scalp, only for the smell and maybe a little bit for the growth ;) I´m from Germany ( straight hair, caucasian ) and have to crochet my locs :) I have medium size locs but I think, this will help many people with locs. I never heard this before, only about a ingredient, that extend shelf life ( can´t find the video, were I heard about it, tested it, and not liking it ) :) THANK YOU !!! :)

Yea but black people really never get lice... least that what I thought... this is the first I've heard of black people getting lice... does your have hair more related to ummm white people's hair? Just asking b/c literally this is first! I don't think you're nasty, I never thought lice was related to being dirty; sorta like tics... I thought it was just something that happens ... ok update, when you said "biracial" yea...... black black people don't get lice.... just saying, no slight. my Dad of 27 years *my step dad is white, my kids' only grand father (my dad passed away) so this isn't racial... I'm just saying c4 hair typically hasn't been a lice thing... your hair must be soft too.... more akin to mixed hair

I have decided to take on the task of retightening my own sisterlocks after 5 years. I have been looking into tools and came across one tool similar to what you used but it is branded for locs and costs $30. I was thinking there HAD to be a more cost efficient version and I discovered those knitting needles and put them in my amazon cart. I have been searching up and down the internet trying to see if ANYONE has used it for that purpose. I was about to fold and just buy the other tool but God said "no!" And this video randomly popped up today! Thank you for posting this and saving me some serious $$$

@LenasLovelyLocs14 ай бұрын
@@angelagreen2811 Hi! Here are some things you can do: 1. **Wash Bedding and Clothing:** - Wash all bed linens, clothing, and any fabric items the infested person used or wore in hot water (at least 130°F/54°C). - Dry them on the highest heat setting. 2. **Vacuum:** - Vacuum carpets, rugs, furniture, and car seats. - Focus on areas where the infested person spent a lot of time, such as their bed and favorite chairs. 3. **Seal Non-Washable Items:** - Place non-washable items (like stuffed animals) in sealed plastic bags for at least 72 hours. - This suffocates the lice. 4. **Soak Hair Care Items:** - Soak combs, brushes, and hair accessories in hot water (at least 130°F/54°C) for 5-10 minutes. 5. **Clean Surfaces:** - Wipe down hard surfaces and floors to ensure no lice or nits remain.

Thank you so so so much for this video. I am on day 9 after discovering i had lice, and I used most of your steps. Thanks for modeling how to advocate for yourself re: getting a stronger prescription. I would have settled for the over the counter medication if you had not pointed out that the Nix did not kill the eggs. My experience with Lice Clinics of America was so pleasant, and I am glad I enlisted the help of professionals, because I was getting dispirited from thinking about cutting my two year old sisterlocks. I am working on getting a prescription from my doctor for Spinosad, and the itching has subsided considerably. I hope in just a short time I can say with confidence I am lice free. This was an isolating journey to be on as a black person with black hair, so thank you for creating this video to help me know I am not gross, alone, and I can get out of this situation.
