I have a sharper image dx2 drone. I have had it for awhile and they are sensitive and I have some tips to help out. Tip 1: read instructions and it will say slowly go up on the throttle. Tip 2: don't use auto land. It sucks because all it does is go up and I couldn't control my drone. It nearly got ran over when i turned it off. Luckily it didn't and I was surprised it was still working. So in my words manually land it. Tip 3: do it indoors first and get used to the sensitive throttle. Trust me you will need all the practice you can get. Tip 4: don't fly it in winds that are two high. If your in a yard with neighbors around I would say you should fly it at 10 mph or lower winds and fly it at an altitude that won't effect it that much. If your in the open with lots of space 15 mph is ok but I would still be careful. Tip 5: read about the trim in the instructions. The trim will help with stability and flight. Tip 6: always keep your eye on the drone. This drone requires it because like I said it's got sensitive controls. Don't look at the camera either. Matter of a fact I took the phone holder of the controller because of that. Tip 7: don't freak out. You will lose control of your drone and will make you nervous about flying it. Tip 8: if you think your doing something wrong or your freaking out. Just take a break, land your drone(manually because auto land sucks) and put in an area were you can fly it again. Those are my tips. Hope this is helpful. Be sure to read the instructions real well to. It's helped alot.

I came back just three weeks ago from the Philippines and drove in exactly this, it seemed impossible at first but once you learned it's controlled chaos? it's not so bad lol! Nothing has changed since 2016, if anything it's much worse now. 😅 still get a kick out of the stickers that say "How's my driving". What driving?? lol!

If, indeed, it went to "the top of the sky," don't wait up for it. Or maybe, since this video is 5 years old, the prodigal drone has returned home where it belongs. Fun video.

...once the signal is lost, the drone isn't coming back, don't floor it to take off, easy does it, inch it to desired height and steer, no need to go full throttle to get it up, if there's a stop or land button, hold it down before it reaches the stratosphere, but rule of thumb, don't fly the drone outside at first, get the hang of it and then enjoy.

450ft altitude also equates to 450ft distance, it doesn't really matter, you liberated this drone and for that you should be commended, hopefully the drone will have a happy life.

....the remote stile sucks, it's the none fixed left analog stick, people forget not to go full throttle and when the drone gets too far to receive commands from the controller, it just keeps flying up until the battery goes dead, they need to change the left analog to a spring loaded one like most drone so that you don't have to try to sit there and get the analog stick to a certain position at the same time you gotta stabilize it and at the same time trim the direction of the blades, it's too much for a beginner to think about at once so most people go full throttle and by the time they realize it's outta control, it's gone, my other drone had a take of button that immediately raises it to about eye level, then you can trim it without having to think about keeping it at the right level, and if it loses the Remote signal, it lands itself, and it only cost just above 40$, sharper image needs to 86 their remote style and it would change a lot of bad reviews, but keep up the hobby big bruh, it's fun af the more you get into it, also, Walmart has the 50$ helicopter, it practically flies itself, a baby could fly it , it's awesome.👍

He was suppose to push the other button that says auto orientation not the land button because auto orientation would bring it back to you, land button makes it land exactly where it is hovering at. Land button won't work past 120ft because land button works only at like roughly 35ft auto orientation will land even at 400ft. Further if u point arms straight up at it!
