I was the same, I got both my Bronco and Maverick 3 months apart. The Bronco was my first vehicle with a push start. After 1 1/2 years. I personally have to say I like the push button better. I don’t know I just prefer keeping the remote in my pocket and not having it dangling, scratching, making noise from the other keys clanging each other. I don’t know, I just got use to it. Congratulations, the more you drive the Maverick the more you will love it. I have both a Bronco and a Maverick and Iwould much rather drive around. Absolutely no! At that point, get a Ranger or an F-150. The Maverick is intended to be a city driven/homeowner vehicle. There are plenty of other options out there if you need a bigger truck.

It’s so important to be able to option in the items that you want, and not the ones that dealers packages in to make money. this way you can get exactly what you want, keep the cost that you want. No, I installed hood struts, which I didn’t like so I removed. I kept hitting my forehead on the hood because the struts made the hood 6 inches low . I know the self dimming mirror with Home link is a must, but then I’d make the video like 35 minutes long. Yup, I kept hitting my head on the hood. Unlike on the Bronco which lifts the hood much higher, the Maverick were about 6 inches lower. Right at forehead level.

It’s been great, I have had no issues. Now I don’t live in an area with a lot of snow and salt on the roads. If I did I would spray rust initiator on the inside before mounting it. All in all I would definitely buy the bumper again. Good luck with your choice.

Any questions , feel free to ask. If you don’t have a metal skid plate, I cut the plastic one for the first year work out pretty good, but I just added a metal front skid plate.

@@fredsgarage1925 Likewise, sir. And thank you for the links! I also agree with your decision to pass the wire for the rear camera back along the passenger side. That gap along the windshield trim will only accommodate one wire. Two would be pushing it, and more than likely, one wire would drop out. All in all, the installation went well. I just have to button up a couple of things. I used a few clips to ensure the wires would stay clear of hardware and trim pins. I also purchased a set of wire clips from Thinkware that are for areas where the wires are visible. One last thing, I drilled a small hole in the plastic trim over the rear roll bar to pass the wire through to the rear camera, which I mounted on the rear glass. I plan on unplugging the rear camera and stowing the wire (using one of the Thinkware wire clips) when it's not in use. I’ll have to try it, I only connect to the app when I want to download an image, luckily I haven’t had any parked issues. I know that the app is always updating, so just check if your on the newest version l.

I’m now sure, I always keep my headlight in auto. So the fender lights are always on when I turn the Maverick on. I’ll have to try and switch the headlight to the other modes and see.

Hello, I know that any set of fog lights that would fit the factory modular bumper would work, it would also be easier for you since you already have the fog light wiring. If you want to fit your factory fog lights from the old bumper you would have to 1) figure out a bracket. ( some sort of angle iron would work ) 2) figure out the width of the fog lights. If you want to measure your fog lights and comment me back with the size, I’ll see if the opening has enough space. I have had that bumper for a while here in Florida and it’s held up well.

@davemckeraghan3585 I know I agree with you 100% I told Mabett that they should make a pigtail wire and they can charge people 10 bucks for it that you can just unplug the headlight plug into the pigtail and then have two little ports for the side marker lights that would make everybody happyHopefully they’ll listen to me and do it on this new version that’s coming out January.
