Amazing, I'm quite new to Push. Tried Push 3, haven't really had the experience I imganed it would give me and now in the process of returning it... Now after seeing your performances, I have doubts and thinking maybe I should keep it. Why aren't you just using Linnstrument? Why Push?

hey man! you are really inspiring me. Right now I feel like I have 2 left hands when it comes to the push but I am willing to take on the struggle. I welcome any tips I can get from my fellow strugglers. What did you guys do when you first started to improve the finger coordination. It feels much harder than the traditional keyboard but also so satisfying to play on my push 3 that I have bought with my sweat and tears.

Are you going to come out with a class for using ableton in general? I heard about you from Sarah the instrumentalest channel. I figured if you’re already teaching a Ableton you might bring it to KZbin or at least have some good videos to recommend.

Haven’t made any general ableton videos on my channel but I’m open to it! Appreciate you watching 🙏🏻

Hey there, I've watched through the whole course while on a train journey. I love it. Really looking forward to applying it on my push when I get home. Very inspired. Question: do you use a plugin when creating the videos which gives the chord names when you play them? I'm assuming such a plugin exists. Could be another way to familiarise with the chord names and good when improvising.
@jxmieblake9 ай бұрын
I do, it’s a third party app called chordie

I keek coming back to your video for connecting my external synths in Standalone, nothing easier. I was trying to follow the same process in controller mode in hopes that i could use the interface and it could also be that easy, but alas did not work. Can you share your process or reccomend one for sampling synths when in controller mode? Thanks, and can't wait for your course to start!!
@jxmieblake9 ай бұрын
Do you mean controller mode as in tethered/not standalone? Or do you mean user mode?
@videosarchive80589 ай бұрын
@@jxmieblake thanks so much for following up. Yes, controller mode. My Push 3 connected to my MacBook and synth connected to Push 3 via USB and audio ins on the back of Push. I tried to connect my Minatuar bass synth using same process as video. I’m sure I’m doing something wrong. Any help much appreciated

Thanks so much for this. I already knew all the basic theory presented but it was really helpful how you presented it on the chromatic mode for Push. Starting to see how the shapes remain consistent for the different intervals and chords was great. Threw you a tenner and can't wait for your more in depth course! Your improvising is inspirational and I'd love to learn the techniques.

Yo this is DOPE. SO DOPE. I'm a pianist/keyboardist and it's so dope to see these SOLID foundations being included for learning on Push. Since I have a lot of experience in piano and theory (through playing r&b, jazz, and gospel live and in sessions mainly) this is speaking my language. I write melodies, especially, in such a different way when I play on Push vs. my keyboard. As you've seen, I've been digging into your videos lately and commenting a lot haha, but just saw this and I'm SUPER hyped. Makes me want to get the Push 3 even sooner.
