I understand that Americans have a wiring in their brain that prevents them from taking their shoes off indoors, but in an exercise that requires precision and attending to the true anatomy (humans are born without shoes) the height of the heel wedge, the drop and the toe-box will interfere with the exercise and proprioception

Thanks for the video. For some reason, when I do unilateral exercises like these I experience a large amount of medial knee pain, it feels like it could be meniscus but I'm not sure. It only hurts when doing exercises like these, it never hurts when doing any other exercises or movements in any of my training.

How should that improve pinching? If I collaps my foot I have better flexion, yes. But that does not solve the problem. I don't understand...

Eventually training your midfoot to pronate allows more space for the tibia to translate forward. Most people don’t have enough mobility at the midfoot to even execute this drill effectively. Therefore we recommend to get assessed to understand that root of issue
