@randomjack1995 Thank you for your comment. For a late Corsair you don't have much options. HobbyBoss offers a solid kit for a fair price but you will need filler and sanding. The Details are nice and all problems can be solved. I would build it again but expect some extra work. Regards ScalerDan

Thank you for watching and commenting. The tool is an original 'Rosie the Riveter' 0.55 mm. Unfortunately the manufacturer died a few years ago and they are no longer available. I have riveting tools from China that work but nothing feels as good in the hand as the original. The AK Markers are great! Regards ScalerDan

I love upgrading cockpits and the development in 3D printing is impressive but as I said, it is a very individual decision and often not necessary for a great result. Yes I understand your point but, to me watching all these videos has really turned me off from this hobby. My wife said I look more stressed making then then I did when we was first married 40 years ago. From what I remember the only upgrade was decals. :-D I think yelling at the kids that live on my street suits me better now. HEY! GET OFF MY LAWN! I JUST PUT GRRASS SEED DOWN!!!

WOW! great job on the painting and weathering. May I ask what colors you used on the body of the plane. I see you vallejo white aluminium on a panel. I am just getting into Vallejo paints.

Thank you for watching and commenting. I mainly used Vallejo Aluminium for the fuselage and wings and painted individual panels with Dark Aluminium and White Aluminium to create some variation. If you want to stick with acrylic paints, the Vallejo Metal Colors are very good. For even more of a metal effect, I would recommend AK Xtreme Metal. Regards ScalerDan

Thank you for your question? It depends... I usually use Tamiya Extra Thin. If I need it to hold quickly and there is only a small contact surface, I use superglue (e.g. wheels, external loads). But I use everything very carefully and sparingly so as not to destroy the paintwork. Regards ScalerDan
