Very helpful!! I’m not an instructor yet, but I’m planning to get by B1 next month and your tips absolutely line up with my favorite Zumba instructors. Ones who arrive early, greet and mingle with the class, bring a positive energy and lots of smiles, and cue consistently and clearly are 👌🏼

Thank you so much I'm a chronic over thinker and this slowed things down enough for my mind to catch up. The time stamp are chefs kiss I went back to each until I felt comfortable before moving on.

Finally a BEGINNER teacher that shows beginners easy, slow, only a couple steps. It's easier for beginners WITHOUT MUSIC at first. Thank u.

Hi Minie! I'm 59, not physically fit, overweight, never done zumba, but I purchased the zumba instructor training and want to teach it.😱🤯😂 why? Inspired by watching instructors online and recently lost a little weight, got my pre diabetes under control (my mom died of it so grateful to have done that) generally feeling positive about the changes I've made so far and would love to help others my age to maybe feel the same and that it's never too late! Am I being naive in wanting to pursue this? Also concerned about being judged and or lack of interest due to my weight. I love the latin beat, zumba moves and I think I can make it fun! Thoughts?

Hi Minie, why are zumba instructors not supposed to explain the steps at the beginning or during the song?
@MinieMinarelli3 ай бұрын
Such a great question! That's because we don't want the heart rate to decrease too much between songs. That's why also it is recommended no chatting between songs. Well, not too much! ;-)

Zumba Gold actually uses Wals too 😛In cha-cha-cha youshowing cucaracha step thats not a basic-basic☝☝Cha-cha-cha rythm was wrong , side right , 2 forvard left , 3 back to right, and 4 cha -cha to left, and to other side 👊
@MinieMinarelli5 ай бұрын
I do mention that chachacha is not a basic rhythm, and what you are describing seems actually mambo 🤔🤷♀️ Here I show Zumba, not Zumba Gold nor Toning, nor Aqua...just Zumba! ☺️

Go and learn to dance and rhytms 🤣You don´t know differences of dances . take a basic course in Zumba first and then teach @@MinieMinarelli

Thanks for this video! It's really helpful. Is the ZIN access absolutely necessary? What happens if you aren't paying monthly.
@MinieMinarelli6 ай бұрын
It is necessary! It's part of the terms and conditions of the contract you signed with your B1 training that, if you want to teach Zumba, you are required to pay the monthly ZIN membership. Furthermore, if you teach Zumba without the ZIN membership, you might get reported by other ZINs and get contacted by Zumba's legal department...lots of drama and, in my opinion, such a terrible way of conducting business within the Zumba community! It's much easier to accept the terms of becoming a Zumba instructor 🙂 The good thing is that the ZIN membership gives you every month lots of songs and choreographies for your Zumba classes, so it does give you back!

Hi! I think that after Covid-19 they organised the B1 training online as well! If you go on Zumba.com it should show you the closest trainings in person, and all the available online trainings!
