I just... really love that last frame when his eyes open and they're gold and his face is just... completely blank, so at odds with the famously expressive dick grayson everyone knows... I wonder how long it'd take anyone to realize that's him with those eyes and that blank face.... A perfect blank slate for the Court to do with as it pleases....

I'm am quite literally OBSESSED with this animatic. Ever since I found it I've watched it at *least* once a day. There is just such a feeling of dread with the combination of the art and the music that scratches a really specific itch in my brain :3 This is so unbelievably gorgeous in every way possible and I cannot stop thinking about it!! I know this is like 4 years old, but I have been obsessing and hyper fixating on Dick Grayson for like three months now, and I came across this. This is so creepy and absolutely beautiful at the same time. I want a proper storyline of Dick and the Court of Owls, but I can at least make fanfiction about it!

Basically it follows after episode 24 of Young Justice Season 1, Dick performing one last show for Haly, and then there's a kidnapping attempt by the Court of Owls, thankfully the Team was able to save him, but that doesn't mean they'll give up now that they've finally found him...
