Day 2 at the St. Lawrence River and I am in a little bit of a deficit. Nothing huge but I have to catch them like I did at the end of my day 1. I think I figured some stuff out and hopefully they will be set up like they were and we can slide into this cut.

Unreal finish DC. So close, but still an amazing year. I waited years for you to be close to me for my son and I to meet you. We went for the knockout round, so we were disappointed as well! I know it stings pretty bad loosing by a ounce, but really more than that, because of the time traveling, all the fuel it took, a lot work for no pay would be the reel stinger, but I know you have a little boy waiting on you when you get home which is the real prize, after a great season, yall need to get rid of those Bubba scales they take too long! Have a great rest of the year & get a couple of bucks for me!🎣👍

DC, it was tough to watch you struggle. I thought you were going to do a WWE atomic elbow drop on one of those 1 lb 14 oz'ers that you caught. What kind of penalty would you have gotten if you had done a "discus throw release" with one of those? 😂 I know that's not very sportsman like or respectful to the fish, but when you're feeling frustrated, the thought does cross your mind. You gave it your all, the St Lawrence River kicked your butt, and teased you by one ounce. But, despite the frustration of one tournament, you had an amazing season, a great group of friends, an awesome wife, and a wonderful new baby. Congratulations brother!

I missed a fish pre fishing on a 7 1/2 in worm ! I caught that fish the next day and the worm was still in the gut. No hook just the worm ! 3 1/2lb. Don’t know why but I pulled the worm out of the fish. Through it on the deck put the fish in the well !! Weigh in I lost 1500 on big fish money by 1/64th of an Oz I got beat out of 1st place over all by 1 1/100th of an oz. ! By Me pulling that worm out of its stomach cost me 1500 big fish and 5400 1st place More than what I won. A lesson well learned !! 100% my fault ! I did cry just a little. A $6900 boohoohoo ! I did have a great year. I won a brand new Chevy pick up for catching a fish that weighed exactly 5.0 lb ! Then in the classic I won a 22 ft bullet with a 200 merc fully loaded ! That 6900 sure would have help pay some taxes !! By far my best in rewards and winnings.
