Richardson does have an arm on him, that’s for sure. He had a couple of college throws that were pretty unbelievable. Question is, can he stay healthy? And can he really become a really good NFL quarterbacks? Physically it will be no problem but he’ll have to learn he has to stay on the field to be successful.

That was one of the worst games the Bengals played last year and in two games (Cleveland in week 1 and Tennessee in week 4) they were blown out. Burrow's calf injury. But in the Houston game the Bengals offense must have gone 7 3-in-outs after the first series that ended with a TD. The secondary was exposed, giving up large chunks of yards. But well into the 2nd quarter the Texans weren't really doing anything much. The Bengals defense just got worn out. Yet the Bengals only lost by a FG in OT but should've won had Boyd not dropped a TD.
@PowerHourNFL5 күн бұрын
Such a huge drop. It also showed how big Higgins is to their success. How do you feel about the team this year?
@kevinevans88924 күн бұрын
@@PowerHourNFLI feel good, seeing that the coaching staff saw how effective Jake Browning was under center in a traditional formation rather than going 90% of the times in the shotgun. The offense should be much more balanced and efficient with play action. Won't be predictable. Also, a revamped secondary with Geno Stone and Von Bell should stabilize that group, which was a disaster last year with Dax Hill playing free safety. I expect the defense to be much improved over last year. With a fourth place schedule the Bengals should win a minimum of 10 games with a ceiling of 13 wins. On a first place schedule with Joe Burrow missing over 7 games the Bengals went 9-8. Anything less than 10 wins would be very disappointing

“Health has always been a concern with Burrow.” Yet we have Colts “fans” that have given up on Richardson over 1 injury. It blows my mind. I guess we should give up on Aaron Rodgers too. I could keep going with QBs that had season ending injuries, but they didn’t take the flak that Richardson is getting. I love and breathe the Colts, but the mouth breathers out there are convinced he will go down again (and almost like they’re rooting for it to prove themselves right which is sick). It will be fine. He had an awkward tackle, and he will learn. If you don’t believe that, be a fan of another team. Just look up the definition of fan/fanatic.

most fans around the NFL wouldnt know AR is a pocket passing QB. he wants to step up, not roll out. but he can do both. but with in the pocket, he can make magic happen, kinda like Mahaomes outside the pocket. Why Pat is considered a scrambling QB. NOT a running QB but scrambling. AR is to, BUT he wants to throw in the pocket, Pat wants to scramble and make plays. People will call Ant a running QB, but he is not. He can be for sure. but his nature is play with in the scheme from the pocket. Why he will be GREAT

I can see potential for your analysis to get better & your channel to grow. But I don't want to comment on anyone else's stream. Having said that, one of the comments is "Your analysis is weak. He stares his receivers down, lacks creativity...he never improved from high school." Your response is fine. But I think that if you can see it, it shouldn't be missing from your videos. I don't know if you have a separate editor, but here's what the former teacher-coach- on the job trainer in me has to say. Take it or leave it, I wouldn't bother unless I saw something of value in this. We *don't need **_ANY_** mid-range plays* almost ever. Give us the highs & lows. Decision-making, some highs. Staring down receivers, low. Establish some sort of baseline. The middle stuff needs to have a context. Otherwise it's boring af. "Look at this One Play where he Did Okay" is completely unnecessary without any baseline within which he made it. Here's what I like: you're showing plays where the QB you're focusing on Did Right even if the play failed. One of my favorite videos compared whatever Young & Stroud do _in the NFL_ before lack of on-field talent or bad play-calling sank the plays. You're already doing this, showing how a defender made a good play or the play failed but Rattler made the best play out of it he could. Expand on doing that because no one else is. The best thing I can recommend to anyone trying to grow their channel is to offer something not found elsewhere. The Stroud-Young example above is one guy who releases one video a month. Another thing they did in that one video you can do is compare two prospects or players at the same position. Let me show you something that wasn't even trying to do this, kzbin.info/www/bejne/a3uyYoOpqtV5lbc. It's a collection of college highlights of Caleb Williams & another QB. Williams is supposed to be a tier up from everyone else. So how is it possible that another QB's highlights look to be in the same tier? Well, it only is seen when shown together. See, if you do videos that show what others won't see anywhere else, that's the quickest way to grow your channel. That's my best advice & I'll check out your other vids now 😉.
@PowerHourNFL6 күн бұрын
Thanks for your advice. I'm not really a highlight guy. I don't quite get the "mid range" criticism either.
@choosecarefully4086 күн бұрын
@@PowerHourNFL Okay, my comments are staying now. the reason you can get comments like the one I pasted is you're giving far too few examples. & the ones you're giving aren't showing us the best & worst. If you only show a few, ya gotta show a wider range. The highs & lows establish a baseline within which the mid-range throws have a context. Not the other way around.
@jeffwatts11267 күн бұрын
It IS better than all touchbacks, but it's funky, I think with getting the ball on the 20, or 35, or 40.....There's just too much going on. If the problem was kickers are just too strong and esily kick it out of the endzone, well I think they just should have moved the kicker back, the way it was in the early 70's. BUT......That doesnt address the high speed collisions, and thats what this is really all about. I just worry about with the rule that with the kickoff team being stationed so far downfield and not being allowed to move until the returner catches the ball, there will be way too many runbacks. In future seasons we may see the kicking teams defenders a bit more spread out, instead of being in a perfect line, so theres more lines of defense against a runback. So they still wont be allowed to move until the returner catches the ball, but they will be in better position once the returner breaks that first line of defense, Yep, my way is better
@daboy1357 күн бұрын
So now starting at the 25 yard line wont be the average starting position, it will around the 30-35 because of where the players line up?

He seems to be quite polarizing. I get it, I didn't like him on the Netflix show either, and I rooted against him at first, but I've really liked listening to him in interviews and getting to know more about his journey. He plays and communicates like an intelligent quarterback who is a real craftsman. His footwork and movement in the pocket is NFL polished-especially when you compare him to guys like Maye and Penix who people didn't hesitate to call high-end prospects. Not to mention his arm talent and throwing mechanics, which again are more polished than many others in this draft-he's very accurate throwing from the pocket and on the run and consistently hits his receivers w proper leverage, which I think proves itself w the high completion percentage out of a pro-style offense and career 77-32 TD:INT ratio. The only real concerns to me are size and overall athleticism, but seeing how Bryce Young went #1 overall last year, I'm not sure why Rattler had to fall to the fifth round. What a steal for New Orleans, I really think they found a gem.

How can you say Mayfield's stats were "really, really good", then call Carr the worst QB in the NFL? Their numbers were almost identical, but Carr had a better completion %, lower interception %, higher passing success rate, higher QBR, higher passer rating, and took less sacks. I'm not saying Carr is GOOD, but he's much closer to 30 than 40. He's not close to "washed up". He's...just serviceable at this point.
