I hope you do another video on him after this year. I was underwhelmed and the sacks are still really bad even after the oline got "fixed". But do you man.

I don't believe they will ever get to the Super Bowl - the two best teams at this point are probably the Ravens and the Lions........ The Chiefs are just playing bad football with an offensive line that will crumble against a talented defense. Probably not their year.

Do you not think that last play was worthy‘s fault at all? Could he not have run a little faster at the end route or at least do for the ball? It looks like he always slows down when he is tracking the ball and it makes it look like Pat is overthrowing him. And Kelce with the missed block

The problem with the Patriots is that the Pats Oline ranks dead last in pass protection and also draws way to many penalties putting them in long yardage situations. I dont think hes the best rookie right now but I think hes got the highest ceiling and will be the best from this draft class. Hes only 22 with the least ammount of college experience and even missed a year of highschool football. He has the worst oline in the nfl and no wr1 but still is averaging close to 300 total yards a game while Brissett with the same exact team was averaging like 135 yards a game. Not only does he have the big play ability but he seems to be resilient and a good leader. They need to fix the oline though and make it atleast average. Bo Nix for instance, his oline is rated #1 in pass protection with a score of 99 while Drakes is ranked #32 with a score of 2 lmao. This whole QB class will be all time in my opinion.

Lions fan here and the way I see it. How many times the refs going to let him have three seconds after the play clock runs out? The play of contention was a PI called on the Lions when the ball was uncatchable. For one thing it was a easy to see a false start on your right guard. Play should have been called dead at that point. The next thing I want to talk about is the TV crew fawning over the OC in the booth. He had direct contact with the QB via radio to call a time out. You get a head coaching job that way and you will be the bitch of the NFC North, just watch.

3 seconds after the play clock? When? It seemed like it was called the same way the whole time it gets to zero and you basically have one additional second for the ref to check his own time. That's the way it's always been.

They were routinely late in the play clock all 2nd half. That's primarily coaching and preparedness, might be the OC getting the play in too slow, there was a time or two it seemed like Caleb get the ball out late.. but then again why are you giving your rookie QB the play late in the play clock so he doesn't have time to read the defense? I don’t think he is trouble and I still hopeful they get a spot to the dance. If they don’t, it’s not the end of the world. The roster is still growing and incomplete. The Lattimore addition will pay dividends with time. Even more next season. You gotta have a veteran in that room. Jayden has done a great job protecting the ball. I’m still not sure he is 100 percent back from the rib. His first step seems a bit slow. I guess we will see how Cliff continues to evolve the offense over the remaining games.

:00 isn’t a delay penalty, because the play clock doesn’t show tenths. :00 is actually :00:9 so the official has to see the 00’s, count one more second then decide to blow the whistle. It’s a bit of a judgement call and nobody should count on it until they actually blow the play dead.

Hard to blame anything on Caleb Williams because he is responsible for getting everyone on Offense lined up knowing the play in the heat of battle. HC Eberflus is NOT a Head Coach but GM Poles kept him at the end of last year because he had 2 years remaining on his contract. If he would have been thinking more about the future the former Bears QB Jim Harbaugh was there & didn't even get contacted. The dynamic of a former Bears player coming back to coach the Chicago Bears though would be stood the League on its ear ! That is what is wrong with the upper Management & Ownership of the team. They hired GM Poles BEFORE CEO Warren by almost a year later. Can't do things in what normal Management in football does. Warren has a great background in football though & timing in hiring is critical. The Bears clock Management has filtered down to the field too !

More like he needs a coach that cares about his development and not just saving his job, playing safe as hell game after game. Caleb has now led like 4 game winning/tying drives that have all ended in losses because of inexcusable decisions, or lack thereof, by the head coach. Not to mention the first half of the season having to play with an OC that had no business leading an NFL offense, look at the Seahawks before and after him and now look at the bears. Saw a stat saying how no QB has thrown for more than 1 TD vs the lions in a game, and Caleb had 3 and no interceptions. He now holds the record for most throws without one as a rookie, all while making some of the craziest throws for a rookie QB with the pocket collapsing. Yes, he needs to work on a lot of smaller details that will make him a more consistently good starter, but he's a rookie, it's on the coaching staff to help him through those pains and letting him shine. Learning when to throw the ball away vs taking a sack is something he needs to learn esp bc even though he doesn't throw a lot of interceptions he does take a lot of unnecessary sacks even though the OL isn't great there are big moments(vs the lions and vikings) where throwing the ball away gives the bears a chance to still keep the game alive/easier to manage.

@ it was a practice squad defense. Most of the lions starters are on IR, out for the game, or injured in game. With the exception of McNeil , Campbell, and the rookie CB, those were not nfl players. Vildor is a perennial practice squad, spot starter in his career. I hope this helps.

Lions fan here and it's way more on Williams than Eberflus. Way more. Look at the TO earlier on the drive. Williams snaps it at 0 (within the extra tick all teams get) but Eberflus called a TO. Williams gets mad and tells Eberflus something to the effect of "I got it". Later, he thinks Williams has it under control until it's clear he doesn't AND TOO LATE to use the TO. Should Eberflus have called the final TO after the sack? Sure. Did he know Williams was going to waste 20 seconds? No. By the time he realized he was it was too late.

3rd quarter 9:47 1st Bears TD Is negated if the referee called the obvious holding penalty on the offense for performing a rear naked choke on the Lion's pass rush. Bears 58 or 85 was holding almost every play but it was only called 2 times. I'm not talking about a little hold. I'm talking game changing, play changing, holds. The referee is standing 10 yards away looking directly at them, but doesn't call it, even though it's blatantly obvious. 2nd Bears TD was gift from refs. 3rd quarter 0:36 Bears snap the ball a full second after the NFL's play clock is 0.00 even the bear glazing announcers call out the CLEAR delay of game not being called by the refs. Same llay theres a late penalty on the play AGAINST THE LIONS DEFENSE. This dishonest reversal by the refs has given thw Bears a 1st down that led to a TD instead of 3rd and 17 which Lions D would've held. Refs propping up the Bears. NFL instant replay does not intervene to fix this BLATANT incorrect call and obvious intentional no call that gift wrapped a TD for the Bears. 4th quarter 0:56 BLATANT Bears false start NO CALL leads to a fake made up pass interference call on the Lions D. Both players had made contact but nothing that could affect the play, and both players had given up on the ball, and both players were over 10 yards away from the ball. Caleb was Desperately rolling out about to get sacked and threw the ball away But the referees bail the bears out one more time.

With a little more experience, maybe he calls a timeout, but this one is really on the head coach. I haven't heard anyone else lay that on the QB. One of the ex Bears local radio literally said, don't tell me that calling the timeout is on the QB - it's not. Brian Baldinger also explained that post - game. Eberflus explained that it was part of the plan at the end there to hold the ball, run the clock down and call a timeout, kick a FG w/ no time left. Just saw why that was not a great plan. Also why Williams said he's not calling a timeout there without somebody in his ear telling him to, he's focusing on the playcall. Taking that sack, though, on the other hand... he'd probably throw that one away if he had that play back. The two things you can't have happen there - a penalty, and a sack… 1,2. 😖
