I had the most beautiful breakfast in Istanbul… there were dips, preserves, honey, chocolate spread, Sacuk with peppers and eggs, bread, olives, cheeses and a fried dough washed down with Turkish tea 😍😍😍😍😍… it was stunning!

Puedes recalentarlos al día siguiente para que queden crujientes y tiernos por dentro. Pero te sugiero que guardes los que vayas a comer el mismo día y congeles los demás cuando estén frescos. Luego, sácalos cuando los vayas a comer. Descongélalos a temperatura ambiente o en una sartén antiadherente, preferiblemente, y gira la tapa cuando sea necesario. Estarán como recién salidos del horno. 😊

How do you determine the amount of sour dough starter to add? Is it a percentage of total ingredients added or the flour added?

Normally you don’t have to add it. The mixture ferment by itself too but the starter introduce good bacteria and flavors and helps the fermenting process so ı add. The amount that’s why don’t matter that much. Add about half to 1 cup. It will increase anyway 😊
