Thanks to oligarchs, zoning & restrictions now make it so no converted buses are allowed in camp grounds or RV Parks. I otherwise love this idea but where can you go besides a walmart lot?
@BackroadPurpose
@BackroadPurpose 10 сағат бұрын
@@ThetaDawn usually it’s privately owned campground that are less likely to let a skoolie stay there. We travel most of the east coast in our bus where there isn’t much blm land and stayed in many state parks and never had an issue. I just had a client go down to the keys and stayed at a $200 night campground and had no issue with their skoolie parked there

Im old enough to remember the old fuel cans. I spill waaaaaaaay more fuel with these new ones than i ever did with the old ones. Thats the govment for you, though. They only make demands, not sense. I can bet that whoever mandated these newer fuel cans have never used one EVER! Probably have never touched a fuel can their entire life.

Just got my diesel heater. I prime it. (But I notice the fuel tube still has air in it. The tube is about 1/2 full) turn it on. It runs about an hour. Then it E-5 and slowly shuts down. Can you tell me what I am doing wrong?

Thank you for uploading your videos. Can i ask !! Do you get any smells of fumes or just heat from the diesel heaters in the bus being an enclosed space it would be noticeable. This is my only concern to install one or two at home having the mian unit outside and just the hot air pipe in the house and hopefully i will be able to find an extension for the display and that i can use the home electric to run the unit. I have been looking dor the right heater to purchase and as you know there are lot out there. Thank you once again

Nice. And FINALLY someone films one of these where it shows *accurately* how small a bus really is. Most of the videos make them seem pretty expansive. This actually appears maybe 5' wide and holding far less than most seem to, because it's filmed more realistically without a fisheye lens. It's making me re-think the bus I've been envisioning, because I can't live in that narrow of a space.
@BackroadPurpose

Lens that is used to take of the picture definitely changes the perspective however most people are still really shocked by the space available. I suggest going to a tiny house festival or a skoolie meet and actually see some in person before saying yay or nay.
