I love that even when you think something didn't turn out as you had hoped that you still share it so we all learn from you. From someone that is doing a build also, I appreciate this so much. I'm planning on painting in October with the same painter you are using. So this is absolutely gold for me. Thank you for your guidance!

I feel it's my responsibility to share all the wins and losses. If not, you'd be in the same spot as me. I'm glad to see I figured out how to fix it so video to come for sure. Thanks for watching!!

@@BackroadPurposehi it's not exactly how to know how to dilute the paint first the preparation is essential and you go too slowly it's not a can of paint it's a spray gun with a fairly high pressure you're not going to quickly move your arm more quickly

With those airless sprayers you have to move fast. I used to spray old equipment where I worked. The only paint equipment that they had was an airless rig. Like you mentioned there is a balance you have to get with paint and thinner. Takes practice with the right viscosity, spray tip and speed of application. On those runs you can get them off with masking tape. Takes a little practice but when the paint skins take a piece of tape and just touch the glue side to the runs. It isn't like sanding them but often they makes the job of sanding them down easier. On the equipment I worked on it was often good enough.

You just need to be patient. Relax and focus. It will work out just fine. Great job. Regards

That's frustrating. I'm sure you'll figure it out though. Either the paint was thinned too much or the sprayer was dispensing it too fast? If adjustable, try a lower flow maybe... Thinking more coats of less coverage is probably better. But I'm no pro painter.

I think it was a combo of the paint being too thick and heavy. Spraying too much paint on the same spot and it was super hot and humid outside. But I did a lot of research and figured it out!

@@BackroadPurpose I'll be looking forward to seeing how you fixed it. I'm planning to prep and paint our top coat this fall before I put RV windows in.

You’ll make it good I’m sure. Maybe feather the spray gun and not continuously holding gun trigger. I’m not a painter either. Anyway I think y’all are doing a terrific build. Stay safe

Yeah I started trying to fix it the following day but it didn't cure enough so I may try to fix it later down the road once life slows a little lol.

you're going to learn a valuable lesson if your a/c ever quits in that black bus. Black is HOT in more ways than one.

The bus isn't black... Plus the roof is covered in panels and the deck...
