I had the most wild idea of what if Edmund in the Roxanne animatic was going so fast when plummeting Monego through the sky, that he ended up doing what that one famous fan animation did and completely accidentally sent himself to a seperate universe? And after his confusion, hes still in his rage. He sees this version of twi, victor Frankenstein and attempts to apprehend him, only for him to notice its not the same one, and hijinks ensue in the ink potts universe 😭 That sounds like a wild fun ride as a fan comic or fan spin off animatics that part of me wants to draw

I've been waiting for this for years, I fell in and out of the Fandom and didn't think to look til now, but this is so beautiful and no less impactful than the first time I'd stumbled on this Playlist, your work means more to me than I can express, I hope youre doing well, I think about this series often. I hadn't heard of the count of monte Cristo until finding your videos, and since finding them; it's one of my favorite movies/musicals, and has been such a comfort to me. Sorry if this is weird as all hell, but your works got me through a lot. Just watching this playlist I can see how far your art has come! I hope you're doing well and still pouring this sort of passion into whatever projects you're working on now 🧡

This was so amazing and the ending gave me chills. The beginning made me wonder if Sombra’s comic story was used.

Literal chills. idk if it was the ponies, the musical or your absurb talent for expression of emotions, but that was awesome.

I remember in 2019 when I first viewed this and utterly adoring it, and my introduction to the film Moulin Rouge that I still gotta watch. It's like nearly impossible to find on streaming. Y'all are the reason I was introduced to The Count of Monte Cristo back in late 2014 when I was 14, and absolutely adored the songs, my favorites being i will be there, I know those eyes, hecc to your doorstep, and the man i used to be. Pretty much most of them 😭 I have fantasized and brainstormed about my own OCs so much with the song with this animatic in mind, especially near the most replayed moment that's my favorite part! Of Edmund bursting through his own ruined self because of his so called best friend's treachery. Then his sadistic and mocking smiles and singing to Mondego as he's plummeting him through the air, with my own OCs ever since 2019. The absolute feeling of adrenaline I got ever since from that part, and the roar from the singer, on top of the artwork, oh my GODDD y'all don't know how much I adore this. To the point I've been so immersed with the tragedy, pain and very understandable reasoning from two of the protagonists, Mercedes, uh, Shycedes? And Edmund. I remember when I was 15 and watched the full 2002 film for free on KZbin and absolutely loved it, still the only version I've seen outside of some of the Russian and German songs, and the book my mother gifted me with I still haven't read 😭 as much as I cherish it The main differences I can remember with Mercedes in the 2002 version and this version, being how in the former, she just did not care that Edmund ended up fighting Mondego 😭 Compared to this one where with all the context in mind of the previous animatics, all she wanted after all that time was to be with the man that she was manipulated into believing was gone, was alive but so wrathful sadistic. The amount of pain and confusion in her expressions to Edmunds behavior was so well done. She just wanted to live happily again, but she couldn't stand the wrathful pain radiating from Edmund, which was so drastically different from the man she knew. Even after he told her everything he went through because of Mondego, even when he was justified for most of his actions against him, she just wanted peace again after all the years of grief without the kind man she knew. It somewhat reminded me of The great Gatsby, for anyone who remembers that particular scene of the two men arguing over their love interest, I can't remember their names cuz I only watched it once with my older brother but still remember a good chunk of it 😭 Not to a complete tea since she was IMMENSELY miserable with Mondego in the story compared to Gatsby but still, that scene fit mostly well with this story, especially from Mondegos manipulation of her. Both versions of her are very understandable but it's just so painful because in this version me and others wanna see them together, which they did in the original not alternate ending 😭 Neither of them were in the wrong for their feelings or their behavior, and all of their pain all started with the person Edmund finally took out. It's so tragic and beautiful and ughhhh I loved this story at such a young age I really hope y'all are doing okei, still drawing and animating! I still gotta buy one of your shirts one day with your art one day, and thank y'all so much for unleashing your passions with so many people, of which many of us were barely out of middle school and freshly in high school with our first viewings! 🫂 💛
